So according to bbeshop.com, the RMB3980 package comes with:

    1. A high class leather briefcase
    2. A leather racket cover
    3. The N90II Racket
    4. Limited edition shuttles
    5. Limited edition strings with leather pouch
    6. Limited edition towel with leather pouch
    7. Limited edition water bottle
    8. Limited edition stamps
    9. Limited edition gold plated medal with individually stamped serial code

Maybe the price is "somewhat" justified now :p

but most of these 'limited edition' stuff has limited usage and value. it's just a reason for the highly marked-up price.

    That's why I said "somewhat" justifies :p

It's more of a collector's set anyway, I sure as hell won't use the racket to play if I get the package lol

Don't need to track him down. You probably can get a brand new with this price. :D:D

Lol. You wouldn't mind to keep it if going to increase its value over the time. Just like th old AT700.

Really doubt so for the Li-Ning stuff. Re-sell also got problem. :D:D

3980 pieces as far as I can tell since the gold medal was stamped XXXX/3980

I wonder what's the significance of that number...........????

    errm... the price?

IF the N90II is a sell-out, i'm quite certain the N90III will be a run of 6688pcs with the same price to match.

prosperous number. for Li Ning, at least.

agree with most that the price is getting silly now. Even if purchased as a collectors item, the value will drop as soon its used (the temptation).

i'm quite certain the incident of yonex (the distributors) increasing the prices repeatedly is restricted to only a few countries due to the strong Japanese Yen compared to the local currencies.

or maybe the seller you were referring to is plain unscrupulous. :D
