    Kevin,

That first pic shows a large chip to the left of the crack. Previous clash?

Also, did you hit the bird with the frame or string when it cracked?

at 24lb, you're well within the tolerances of Panda's claim of 40lb tension.
    Should be covered under warranty.

40lbs was only for the Ultra, and the warrenty tension is 35lbs for an Ultra. Precision is 28lbs warrentied if I remembered correctly yet panda strung one to 32lbs I think.

#1: No Panda Power racket is covered to 40lbs. Please check here for max tension:
    http://www.dcbadminton.net/products.htm

A racket being able to take 40lbs. string tension and the actual warranty are two completely different things.

#2: Racket breakage can be due to many factors. Some times it's not easy to determine the cause and other times there are many variables.

#3: If you damage your Panda Power racket and want to file a claim, you need to contact your seller and not post here.

I have broken my fair share of Yonex rackets from striking a shuttle and I never got a new racket due to defect because it had small chips on the racket itself (MP99, MP100, AT800DE (twice)). I think it's the nature of the game and equipment. Best route is to contact seller and hope for replacement or a break on price for replacement. I didn't get any consolation for my breaks and all of them were less than 1 year of use so I just had to suck it up and buy a new racket.

Anyhow back to topic... so are the T-Pro's on a boat to the Panda cave yet?

Nope the TPros are not on a boat, but they are on a plane to Panda's Cave. :D

Panda expects them around January 30th or 31st. :)

That chip was actually from a mishit of the birdie, hence why it is located at the top of the frame.

That does not sound like a healthy, open, honest and equal partnership if you feel you must plot how to hide household expenditures from your lifemate. :(

(Now, just tell me your technique so I can use it too! ;))

She kinda knows something is up anyway when I sold 3 of my old rackets.
Her exact words were, "wow you sold all 3... HEY WAIT A MINUTE!!! ARE YOU PLANNING ON GETTING ANOTHER ONE?!!?!?" :)

But she understands since we met through badminton (she has gone to US JR Nationals twice).
