    Much better! Thanks!

Hope her knee is all better and she doesnt have any recurrences. The injury may make her more motivated and mature in her play.

Let's face it, you're only interested in pictures of one particular Korean player:p

Well, if someone has taken a pic of this particular Korean player, I would appreciate it if she could be allowed to grace these pages.

Any help on the CHN players? Some unrecognized new faces in there.

I think Tian Houwei is the one top row first on the left, and I think that Li Gen's partner is the one that is sitting next to him, (can't be certain about that one)

And of course Li Gen is the guy top row third from the left:p he's quite easy to recoqnise:)

Wang Lin's knee is having problems

    .
Not only that Wang Lin's knee is having problems, Taufik is also worrying about his right knee (so I was told). ;););)

I stand corrected on the last one, it looks more like He Hanbin than Li Gen...

TTY retired in game 2 at 21-9 2-0, handing over the match to Mitani Minatsu. Retired hurt, maybe? :(

    Who is Deng Yuting?
Deng Yuting is the latest in a long line of WD partners for Bao Yixin.
The n'th new pairing lost in round 2 in 3 games to MAS pair Chin Ee Hui and Wong Pei Tty.
    Scratch this combo, eh?

Not a good year for Taiphoon :( Perhaps CSC can do better for TPE...

Due to the luck of the draw, Anneke Feinya Agustine/Nitya Krishinda Maheswari should now have progressed to QF as they face an Aussie pair in R16. Hendra Setiawan/Vita Marissa already lost earlier today to Sudket/Saralee (again).

Yeah! I'm really rooting for CSC to take this title :) She's just so long overdue for a decent run. Girl with her talent should be steamrolling all the opps....

    MS R32
    Simon Santoso
[3] vs Ashton Chen Yong Zhao - Simon should at least fulfill his seeding.

Sony Dwi Kuncoro vs Alamsyah Yunus [15] - I want Alam to fulfill his seeding, but, he may just lose to Sony.

James Eunson vs Taufik Hidayat [5] - another warm-up match for Taufik.

    WS R32
Aprilia Yuswandari vs Eriko Hirose - the Japanese gal should take this.

Adrianti Firdasari vs Wang Lin - tough luck for Firda, drawn against the Chinese.

Lindaweni Fanetri vs Sayaka Sato [8] - again, the Japanese has the edge.

Maria Febe Kusumastuti vs Nichaon Jindapon - if there's any player who can reach R16, Febe probably has the best chance, but, I have no confidence in any of our INA WS players. So, my prediction is for all to be eliminated in R32 this week.

    MD R32
    Hoon Thien How/Teo Kok Siang
vs Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Afiat Yuris Wirawan - the first match of year 2012 for Rendy/Afiat and already, they are looking at a bleak prospect for this year.

Mercedes Tin/Toan Trinh vs Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan [6] - this could be one of the last tourney for the fading INA pair. It will take a few upsets for them to even take this title...that's how low they have fallen.

Anthony Chang/Nicholas Ong vs Hendra A. Gunawan/Alvent Yulianto Chandra [4] - a warm-up match for the still unreliable and inconsistent AG/Alvent.

Ross Smith/Glenn Warfe vs Angga Pratama/Rian Agung Saputro [8] - this is the pair that should get some major results this year, starting from this tourney. I expect them to fulfill their seeding and face the second-seed Hashimoto/Hirata in the QF.

    WD R32

Wendy Chen Hsuan Yu/Hsieh Chia Ju vs Vita Marissa/Nadya Melati - Vita/Nadya also have the best draw this week, facing 2 Aussie pairs and they should progress to QF before facing the top-seeded Japanese pair.

Yao Lei/Shinta Mulia Sari vs Suci Rizky Andini/Della Destiara Haris - the first match of the year for Suci/Della as well...and a tough match it will be. If they can get past Yao/Shinta, they will face Wong/Chin.

Poon Lok Yan/Tse Ying Suet vs Meiliana Jauhari/Greysia Polii [4] - despite being seeded 4th, I don't think Mel/Grace can even get past Luo/Luo tomorrow.

    XD R32
Shintaro Ikeda/Reiko Shiota [5] vs Fran Kurniawan/Shendy Puspa Irawati - I am looking for an upset from Fran/Shendy here.

Tan Aik Quan/Lai Pei Jing vs Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto [6] - I am expecting Rijal/Debby to fulfill their seeding.

Hopefully Hendra does (much) better with Markis later on... :)

Lately, Sunket/Saralee seem to have achieved a better level of consistency, albeit at a rung lower than SS/SSP. Hope they can improve. When they're playing well, they're very exciting to watch! :D

Porntip is making heavy weather of her first game with Xing Aiying, at 13-11.

Battle of the WS youngsters: Kaori Imabeppu has her nose ahead of Han Li in game 3, at 8-7. Too close to call yet, I'd love to see this match later on youtube if it's available!

Porntip finally takes game 1 at 21-18, but Han Li has moved clear of Kaori at 18-11 in game 3. It will require something extraordinary for Kaori to come back from there....
