I'm going over there for spring break vacation and I was wondering if I rackets were cheaper in Hong Kong or Taiwan as I would be unable to go back the the former once I'm gone. Also, if there are minor QC differences between the distribution codes like how JP coded rackets are better than the rest, which place would have the better quality racket. (if there is a difference)

    Cheers! :D

It may help more if you have a model or brand in mind. I'm also assuming you are talking about genuine rackets.

Oh right, I forgot to clarify that since Victor is probably going to be cheaper in Taiwan. I'm looking at purchasing a Yonex Voltric Z Force II and maybe a pair of shoes.

Buy it in HK, many goods in HK are cheaper than Taiwan and it is easier to go around searching for the shops (better public transportation).

try HK esp the e78 store. it is a little bit in the middle of nowhere (in industrial area)
but his price is very competitive (IMO, really cheap since he doesn't need to maintain a store. his store is in an apartment room) and he has many different brands (if you are in for a big buy, you can try those brands, it is not expensive)
too bad he cannot speak english or chinese though, only cantonese (but his son can speak english and his brother can speak chinese)

edit: yes he also sold victor. check his website in:
    e78.com.hk

How about mister keen? I noticed they on the other side of the map. Are you familiar with them?
I'll only be in Taiwan for few days and won't be going back so want to know what's recommend and make one stop.
I'm looking for Victor or lining shoes, a bag, and strings

I am not familiar with mister keen.
you can check e78 website that I gave you above. convert it to your currencies (they use HKD), and see if e78 is cheaper or more expensive than your targeted shop in Taiwan.
if it is cheaper, then go for e78, if not, buy it in Taiwan

Unless you are going for brands which only HK has (Adidas, Babolat, RSL etc), my recommendation is buy in Taiwan if you are looking at cheaper prices. Victor in Taiwan is probably the cheapest compared to any market. Even for Yonex, the price is very good, I would say probably cheaper than HK.

Are you able to recommend a place for Victor in Taiwan? I did a search but are for yonex stores, and these threads are very dated as well.

    Can you read Chinese?

    Suggest you visit these stores:

    上展體育用品行
    捷利體育用品有限公司

The above stores carry Yonex as well and the addresses can be found in the following link:
    http://victorsport.com.tw/distributors_list.html?cid=1

There are other smaller Victor stores in the list but believe you should be able to get something you like at the above stores.
