Murray is the Stringer for WSBA in Altona, been using him for nearly 3 years with out problem. Consistent 2 day turn around.

$20 for labour or $30 for BG65, abit expensive imo but quality job.

I get my rackets restrung at either Stadium Sports in Box Hill, or Agus at MDBA Kilsyth. Prices are both comparable....their around the $15-$20 mark depending on the type of string you choose. As far as tensioning goes, Stadium Sports seem to be a bit better in that aspect.

In Melbourne, I have always go to David Cheng with re-stringing. I have a group of private individuals playing every Thursday (12-15 of us). Most of our re-stringing jobs go to David anyway. I have been approached by other re-stringers, $1-$2 lower, but I have kept with him as I know what I am getting. On the other hand, that doesnt mean other stringers are bad, it is just that I am used to David and I trust him. Recently left my Yonex's Arcsaber 10 with him for a day to string BG80.

    Cheers

ps:I maybe new to the forum, but have been playing badminton for more than 18years, since Malaysia's days...;)

Sorry Daive, I think the "stringing instructions" that you posted earlier it's mainly for Yonex At800 and Ns7000 since they been designed differently. Not sure if we beable to do it in other Yonex / standard rackets? Just wanted to discuss the method :)

There are many different stringing patterns that a stringer can/will use

    .
Experienced stringers know which grommet allows one or two strings to pass through. There are many different stringing patterns that a stringer can/will use.

I sometimes use different stringing patterns on Yonex rackets (not the patterns suggested by Yonex); and many players like it. :):):)

Good to know that there are a few stringers in Melbourne, but are there any near the vicinity of Melbourne CBD? Don't have a car so would prefer a CBD or CBD fringe stringer close to public transports.

    Justin.

I use same string for our CCCers

    .
I don't sell strings. But I have strings for me to do my own rackets. Therefore, I use same string for our CCCers.

Total cost (including strings) = $25
If you provide your own strings = $20

You can have a look of my racket & strings when you next attend our CCC sessions.
