Overall,Lin Dan understands Lee CW's play better than the other way round. Strangely,I sense Tang Xianhu's presence in the arena, the way Lin Dan plays today.

Agressive Lin Dan + LCW with errors = Lin Dan domination

But then, although Lin Dan pretty much dominated the match, there were still many superb and epic rallies that we can only see between this two... no question these two are still the best in the world, don't think Chen Long can produce such epic rallies at the moment..

Lin Dan is apologizing so often and showing respect to his opponents all the time.

Lin Dan started fast today, but didn't really find his range until the interval in G1. LCW seems easily agitated today from his body language.

LCW weakness is totally exposed by Chinese players now. Lin Dan is using the same strategies like Cheng Long to destroy LCW. I think very soon Chen Jin will be able to beat LCW liau. LCW should reduce his participation in the international tournament and stay at home to fine tune his weakness and to conserve energy. He is no longer young now....

Now I'm wishing for a Lin Dan-Chen Long Final tomorrow where this two really slug it out ! Wishful thinking, more likely a Lin Dan-Chen Jin Final (thanks to Chen Long tonight) and the winner is _ _(no prize for getting this one right).

Excellent umpiring. Minimal mopping breaks. Superb show by Super Dan. Great video homework material and Olympic training for LCW.

Now,get ready to witness Tine Baun raining blows left, right and center to Wang SX, flat-footing her and driving her to throw her arms up in despair. Hope it's not a pain for me to watch, WSX might just surprise me.

had to get the kids in bed so cannot type.

for the most part of the first game, i was wondering if the real Lee Chong Wei and Lin Dan was kidnapped and replaced by two imposters. neither of them are really playing like themselves.

LD picked up his game near the end of the first game. while LCW was mostly asleep until LD leads by 8 or so points. then LCW blindly just threw in a bunch of hard smashes that caught LD off guard. LCW unfortunately was unable to keep that pace forever and LD adjusted to it. for the rest of the game, LD just kept cruising along at that pace and LCW faded very quickly.

overall, not the best of matches between these two, too conservative and both seems to be keeping their war chest closed and not revealing their goods.

despite which, there are some really awesome rallies that showed incredible offensive but more incredibly defensive and retrieval skills of these two.
