Went to Queensway just this afternoon and asked around abt this All England bag. One shop, SS Sports, quote me S$80! I was shocked! Told them straight in the face that ppl Sunrise only selling 79.90 and u're selling 80. (Note: It's not about the $0.10)

When I told him $79.90, he gave me the 'unbelievable' look. Maybe he's just surprised that i know my stuff. (Maybe i look the sotong type?)

just wanna tell bros out there about this shop. Should you do biz with them in future, please compare prices elsewhere before committing.

I heard SS Sports and Smash Sports at Eastpoint have the same owner. Is this true?

No idea. I really hope they are not under the same boss. One thing though, both shops are run by indians. No racist/religious or whatsoever biasness here.

Last time the one at the queensway new link indian shop and the smash sports is owned by the same person. Now new link shop ownership change to shop owner brother (not sure older one or younger one). The most recent shop at queensway run by another indian guy is a worker last time used to work under smash sports but he venture his own business at queensway now.

Yes same owner, Mr. Shaik. He was planning this move of opening in Queensway for quite a while. I had some of my racquets strung by him.

One of the few shops in Singapore that uses the Yonex ES5 Protech stringing machine and he have 2 of them. One in each shop.

1st time enter this thread. Lots of ooh & aah in the pics.
Ara, I think Sports Life is few shop lot space, right? is consider BOUTIQUE? Make Perfect Sports look like minions. Went to Perfect Sports & Racquet World (still cant match Sports Life). Only racket & shoe updated except for bags & cloths. Pity them

Daniel was right, too many bags to buy. perhaps sell the old bag so that we can renew to new fashion bag.
I got Pro Ace (red/yellow like China), ProTech (blue/white), Apacs (Blue/navy) anyone?

Peter Gade strung up to 36lbs tension...pretty high man..no wonder he beat LCW to bag the Korean Open 2009.

I manage to strung up to 28lbs only & till now string no broken yet.

bigger tension = bigger repulsion = faster smash speed like F1. LCW cant stand the cold weather & not fast enough to retrieve the smash.
