Thanks Thanks a lot leehsim for your help. I'm glad to hear the serial checks out. All other attributes seem fine. Feels good, grommets are high quality, paint is perfect, ti-mesh is real, hologram stickers, lasered serials. The only thing I found odd was the YONEX hologram on the cone was very near the end of the cone, close to the shaft. And there was no PBSI logo. But I've read elsewhere on BC that some distribution codes don't carry the PBSI logo. BTW, one question of curiosity: does anyone know what the last digit in the date code stand for? My guess is a batch number.

If people keep answering, people will keep asking. Just point them to the ebay/shopping thread . Where the heck do all these new users come from anyway to check serial numbers .
