I have checked in the information of your Yonex Carbonex 21 Special shaft Serial:7804539; Cone Code:150784SP (date=15 Jul 2008) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan, its respective shaft serial and cone code are legitimate.

However you still need to inspect the other physical features of the racket carefully and compare the specifications to ascertain its total legitimacy or authenticity yourself.

I have checked in the information of your YonexArcsaber 10 JPshaft Serial:7232533; Cone Code:290882JP (date=29 Aug 2008) to my information list of Yonex rackets made in Japan.

For the cone code of 290882JP (date=29 Aug 2008), the valid shaft serial should be close to 7892000.

For the shaft serial of 7232533, the valid cone code should be something like31107xCC (date=31 Oct 2007).

    IMHO,your Yonex Arcsaber 10 JPshaft Serial:7232533; Cone Code:290882JP (date=29 Aug 2008) is a fake.

    Thanks

Thanks a lot leehsim for your help. ;) I'm glad to hear the serial checks out. All other attributes seem fine. Feels good, grommets are high quality, paint is perfect, ti-mesh is real, hologram stickers, lasered serials.

The only thing I found odd was the YONEX hologram on the cone was very near the end of the cone, close to the shaft. And there was no PBSI logo. But I've read elsewhere on BC that some distribution codes don't carry the PBSI logo.

BTW, one question of curiosity: does anyone know what the last digit in the date code stand for? My guess is a batch number.

Thank you very much leehsim for helping me check out my arc :) I took your advice and inspected the racquet's features and it seems good; knowing that my serial and cone code are legitimate adds to my confidence. Once again a big thanks for helping me :)

If people keep answering, people will keep asking. Just point them to the ebay/shopping thread ;). Where the heck do all these new users come from anyway to check serial numbers [IMG].

Shuttlehouse is a legit seller so there shouldn't be any problems.
