Sorry for writing in such an old thread, but maybe its better than open a new one. im staying in kerobokan right now till the end auf july and ive seen some yonex rackets at the matahari mall today for about 900k rupiah (arcsaber 10). in europe its twice as much. so my question: is there any bigger sports/badminton shop somewhere in the south (jimbaran, kuta, legian, seminyak, denpasar) and is it cheaper than in the matahari mall. and maybe someone can has some experiences with taking badminton rackets in the hand luggage? (flying with singapore airline and klm).

Hi! I’m a Swede that will be in Bali 8-16 March and I'm interested in finding persons that would like to play some games of badminton (single or double doesn’t matter). I will be staying my first 4 days in Seminyak and 5 days in Nusa Dua. In Sweden I would consider myself an intermediate player, but translated into Asian standards I’m probably considered a beginner with some basic experience.
