I must say the standards of officiating in this tournament was a lot higher than BWF's best despite lack of service and line judges. Probably because some of the umpires are certified "bouncer types" and rule with "Judge Dredd" authority.

We had less problems than Edy Rufianto in managing players like Yu Yang in the Uber Final.

Ah, but the Uber scenes were more graphic at the stadium. We got to see more of LYB bashing the kids from every angle.

Missed the medal ceremonies of the BC Cup, any pics?

The results of all the official BC tournament matches have been signed and endorsed. Now with samuel882, as part of record-keeping for Malaysian, err, bragging rights.

Part of the efficiency quotient improvement in this BC tournament is the self-service initiative, adopted from our self-service petrol/gas station practices introduced to cut down reliance on foreign labour.

Players are free to change shuttles and ask for court mop up service, as long as they do it themselves.

The pair we imported and expected to deliver a point for us did not come through. I think we had been double-crossed :crying:. On the other hand, since the MAS been whitewashed by CHN the night before, they had really put their revenge on us :D:D:D. Anyway, thanks for all of you to make this event happened, I really enjoyed it very much! By the way, the games were much closer than the scoreline suggested.....hahaha...."sour grapes" :D

This is the first tournament where I see players wishing for the presence of kite flying, err, I mean the drift.

So much so that someone smuggled a fan to help "simulate" a drifting court.

The right handed version of TBH's powerful smash.

Yeah, saw that and it was quickly removed once the tournament ended, hence no evidence.

Sad you were not here. The scoreline would be 7-2. Who would dare to beat the boss? Ha Ha.:D

Unfortunately, like TBH's powerful smash, limsy's sting could also be defended easily, even by the semi-retired Tournament Referee.

    Prize presentation video.

Video of 'Prize Presentation' coming up with translation for our foreign friends. Full of jokes and action. Watch out for Uncle Loh's "Singapore also can" reaction.

Nice meeting you and the rest of the World Team members.
After the failed negotiation between Ants and me, my partner and I have to win that match, otherwise that lucky 'blurry D''s LCW racket would be mine.
