I won't be doing any mirror finishes anytime soon. If anything I prefer the matte finish, but the factory doesn't like doing them, so the first model will just have a nice gloss clear coat I think. It's stronger anyway.

The all-black prototypes I've been playing with for 6 months now, and nobody notices them, so I won't be doing an all-black racket. I like them and I know a bunch of you guys do, too, but the last thing you want when you're new is for nobody to notice you!

i'm not a fan of star wars, but you should paint it in a bright color and a shiny clear coat, so whoever's playing would look like they're using a lightsaber, everyone will notice!!!

but i would love to see a final copy in matte black because that is just truly awesome too, very stealthy!!!

Just some suggestions for prototype colour

A blue on black racket would be nice :), or could you make your prototypes as flashy as these? Razzle_2D00_Dazzle_2D00_Puma_2D00_Img1.jpg Puma_2D00_evoSPEED_2D00_Camo_2D00_Img4.jpg

Well, this is where the design kind of finished up the last time I looked at it.....

    Nice. BS frame? 76 hole?

You should check out Eric's XP series 80 hole frame, which looks very much like it's oem'd from Fleet's Triotec 8 frame. Unusually fast and powerful for its weight.

    Hi, Maklike Tier
I'm also interested in doing reviewing project on your prototype too! A second thought, every brand does seem having an iconic color base like LN more red, YY more into plain white , Victor more onto Matt type color, so I would said going a any base color which yet mentioned should be good and I find it alot players tend seeking for a real Blue color for their favorites racquet. I bet it certainly would attract blues fans out there!

why not go with 88 or even 96 holes ;).

I would've like to test some, but being in Canada won't help with the shipping charges. Plus the fact that visor will be posting a much more scientific review :p

But, If I had my dad's tools, I would have suggested some sand blasting for the matte finish...

It this on isometric frame or oval frame..? Wasn't too impress at the first sight to me but hardly judge from the pic as as the paint outcome yet really reflects exactly like what is on the drawing. It looks more softy I would said, perhaps try to darken the frame with more black background then it should enhance the brown/orange in middle then it should certain goes much fears ! :)

Don't worry about the shape of the head - this drawing is for the graphics only. It's a fairly standard ISO, 76 hole design.

Colours are sweet, just enough to gain attention without being overly minimalist. Any word on specifications (head heavy/head light etc.)?

Wet weight for most should be about 89-91g, SW of about 41(ish), BP of 300-305......um.......30T shaft and head.......woven.......

One of the samples will be 'Medium+' stiffness, and one will be 'Stiff'.

In other words, like a slightly head heavier mx80? And how many grommet holes?

No. 'Chassis feel' has been of utmost importance, so it's nothing like an MX80.

It's hard to make a comparison between my design and what's on the market, because there really isn't anything like it (which is why I'm doing it :) )

41g wet head wt... that's exactly what my XP and Revelation rackets are. :D

Strung with zm62, they're just the perfect weapons for a fast md game.

How do u rate your medium+ and stiff? In relation to victor, is medium+ like bs lyd pr bs12. Stiff is mx jjs or mx80?

It's hard to describe what the actual stiffness is, because I'm using higher quality materials than the majors, all I've really tried to do is balance torsional stiffness with bending stiffness to get a package that works really well for intermediate players.

Shaft stiffness is 8.5-8.8 on the typical scale used by manufacturers (a separate sample will be the next stiffness up from that)
