lol.. i think its nice to idolise some one, however, you should just adapt your own method of play, learn all the shots, improve fitness, then maybe you will be able to learn his method of play. looking like him and using his equipment will not make you him.

Looked to me as if he put some tape on top of the racket, like he did when he was using his AT 700 =/.

Its not really clear on that picture, but some other pictures that I saw, were really obvious that there was a tape on top of it. 10 to 2 o'clock

Lol yea. Well said. Its better to be original in your style of playing rather than copying someone else or follwing them. Who knows maybe your style is better than thiers? :p

I'll post the pictures, IF I can find them back. Don't know since how many months ago I saw those picture. =.="

Hmmm.... I'm not saying that you can't copy another persons style its just that, its better staying original and true to your own style sometimes.

For me I like someone to see me as my own style of playing rather than seeing me,as another "copy" of that person.

im sure he did take, learn others form of play, however im sure his basics wear up to scratch before. what im trying to say is the racket, the way the racket is modified is to his preference only.

I can back up takumifugiwara, I've seen pics of LD's racket with white athletic tape on the top part to add to head heaviness.

I dont know how convincing that is to you, but notice on the 10 oclock place, something looked as if it is peeling off. And plus Lin Dan has always been known to put tape on his racket for added extra weight. I don't see why wouldn't do it again on hi LN racket.

I thought you were no.1/2 supergroupie . And you didn't know about the tape? BUSTED! :p
On a sidenote: if your racquet is on fire better to put out the flame with water or sand instead of adding white paint ;)[IMG].

It's not paint, it's tape to add to head weight lol. Paint does nothing.

It is frame, not flame. No one going to partner you if your racket on flame!! You will make it softer with flame instead modify it. :D:D

Wow, a great researcher and great imagination on this. THUMB UP. :p How would you make it more stiffer where the stiffness is determine by the Modulus of Elasticity of the material and subject to a certain deflection when loaded in different load.:cool:
