Arc 11 is designed for balance racket, it is no surprise for the head light condition, what I surprise is the flex is more than ZSlash, so..it is consider super flex already, not sure how is the on hand feelings.
Someone in this forum described the Arcsaber10 with: "Arcsaber 10 is not an Ace in anything. It's rather a Jack of all." That's a very good description in my opinion. Isn't Arcsaber 11 the successor of Arcsaber 10? Identical stats?
Arc11 supposed to be successor of Arc10. Regarding its statistic, it is kind like a flex racket or should be balanced racket.
It looks like it is supposed to replace both ARC10 and 8DX. Don't know what specs loneboy keeps looking at but the hit feeling bar is almost at it stiffest point (even more stiff than 8DX), not "kinda like a flex racket". Maybe he is thinking about the Flash Boost ... (or has inside info ) The only thing about the "stiffness"/hit feeling bar is the Z-Slash was also indicated as stiffer than 8DX but compared to ARC11 it is a.) more headheavy and b.) short handle (/longer shaft). I think the indicator is roughly at the same point as Z-Force on the bar.
Oh, so both my current go to rackets are discontinued! I use Arc 10 for singles and Arc 8dx for doubbles. Fine! So now I only need a pile of Arc 11:s. Anyway, Not much hype around this release. I noted the first official info from Yonex a week ago and its released in februari. One more thing: Is it citrus yellow or lime green stripes? Pictures tend to alter the colors a bit.
Arc11 already released yesterday in most of the Japan & Taiwan area, I believed it takes sometimes for the CN, SP & TH Coded, definitely will be here around Feb time. However, this racket seems to be stiffer compare to Arc10, wonder how good is in attacking. -------------------------------------------------- Jyno Hi Badminton Online http://www.facebook.com/HiBadmintonOnline
Z-Slash yellow? Laser yellow I believe they call it ... As someone mentioned it's like a reverse Z-Slash in colour.
Oh, that's a shame. I was rather hoping it to be lime green. In the add with Taufik that says "control the rally" it looks like the same green thats on the Z-Force. Which is nice. "Flash yellow" and red... is a bit too much coral snake.
Should be early of March because overall supplies have delayed for this model. -------------------------------------------------- Jyno Hi Badminton Online http://www.facebook.com/HiBadmintonOnline
Comes in two colour versions. Official release mid-Feb. Yonex's descriptions for features and characteristics: - High rigidity titanium alloy Sonic Metal and Neo CS carbon nanotubes to the frame for improved rebound performance. - T-anchor reduces torque for excellent rigidity and stability. This enhances the control joints to prevent twisting. - This combination enable the racquet to accelerate (improve) the swing speed by up to 30 km/h (presume as compared to previous fastest Yonex racquet). - Adopting the new nanometric-pull carbon material (probably new method/formulation of developing the carbon material). This succeeds in reducing the weight while maintaining the strength. Average racquet weight is 73g which is 5g lighter than Yonex's conventional racquets (This is very light even for dry weight).
73 grams?! :O I'm not sure why but the colors and the weight almost gives it a more mid/low range appearance to me. Hopefully I'm the only one.
I am a bit sceptical about the 73g also. The lightest Yonex racquet that I had wield is the 4U Nanospeed 3000 but I don't know what is the weight for that. This is essentially developed for ladies.
It does not come in two colours . The blue one is a whole different racket, namely ArcSaber Flash Boost which has the nanometric but not the neo cs, sonic metal nor t-anchor. This is the 73gram one, weight class "F" ... (I wonder if that post begun it's life as another new thread ?)
