In this day and age, there's no need for finishing tape ... ;)

Do you know when MBS is going to carry Adidas rackets and shoes? I don't know how much longer I can wait for the US to get stock. How much do I have to buy to qualify for a discount? I don't see the Duoforce available on their website, but I could see myself buying at the minimum the BT Feather and the Adizero Pro. If they give me a reasonable shipping price and discount, I could see myself adding a Duoforce in just to try it out. If it doesn't work out, I could always sell it on BC. I'd imagine it wouldn't be that difficult to sell it over here. ;)

Kwun, do you mind measuring the length and width of your foot for me please?

Do you have any idea when MBS will carry Adidas rackets and shoes? If MBS is cheaper than SH, then I'm willing to pull the trigger. I'd imagine that shipping time from either HK or Osaka to the US will take about the same amount of time. It'll probably be faster to get it from either of those stores than wait for a US retailer to carry stock!

i asked and MBS says 2 weeks. as for pricing, i don't know if it is finalized or not. i guess pricing it correctly would be critical so it will take some work.

So at the end of this month? Have you ordered from MBS before? Since you're on the west coast, what's the average shipping price have been like for you? I might buy more than what I had intend to justify whatever shipping price they'll charge me.

    Kwun,

Just wondering if you're going to review the Adizero Tour and the Adipower Tour?

    How about the N500 birdies?

The bottom line is, is that it doesn't hurt sales. Early adpoters will still foam at the mouth, kwun will still talk it up or no company will give him free stuff ever again..... ;)

With such a massive roll out, people will just have to be patient. There's no incentive for them to hurry anything up. They have a plan, and are going to stick to it as it pertains to their ability to supply.

One thing we don't really get a handle on, is the market concentrations, of who buys what and how much. Here are the numbers -
    )
    Hong Kong - 19.93%
    USA - 18.77%
    France - 9.02%
    Japan - 7.18%
    Netherlands - 6.15%
    Germany - 4.07%
Belgium, China, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, all about 3%

So, you target HK and the USA, you target nearly 40% of the market.

You release in some of the smaller markets like New Zealand at 0.47%, you can use that as a test market to refine your product line without too much risk.

    It's complicated :D

(in case you were wondering about manufacturing countries.....China 88%, Japan 5%, Taiwan 4%. )

Percent of population owning a badminton racquet? Or actual sales figures? Surprised that M'sia would be low down on the list.

Probably not a Yonex statistic. I guess it's sales statistics for one badminton company. Hong Kong takes care of a whole lot of markets as many ppl order from there, especially brands that are hard to get in their particular country (for example, anything other than Yonex is a bit hard to get in Malaysia).
