    1D MkIV + EF800MM F5.6 IS ? That's overkill for badminton, maybe EF400MM F2.8 IS USM ?

    :D

Since you mentioned the 1DX, are you even considering it?

no. i already mortgage my house for the mk3. don't have anymore to mortgage another one. :D

besides, i don't really think i will get much more out of it than the mk3.

    BINGO!

or more accurately. the 5N. :)

one of the best image quality sensor, but in an incredibly small sized body. and pretty much any lens will fit on it.

i'd like to think of it as mounting the body to the lens. :D

this would be my ideal setup. the minor problem being the lens itself goes for around $5000....

luckily, i am done with this kind of maniac. fooling around with exotic lenses. they dont really gave much impact in photographs.

tend to agree. but i do like their small sizes.

here is as exotic as i'd get for now. dusting off some old nikon primes. gonna use them during a friend's wedding tomorrow. trying to not look too ridiculous.

it would be rather uncool to draw attention away from the bride and groom!
