Had a chance to see a Spira 21 in a local shop today, was looking it over and found them spelling the word balance wrong just like yonex did on their carb35... I think it was spelled Banlance or something on the cone... I'm pretty sure the one I saw is from a Canadian distributor, wonder if the overseas ones are spelled wrong also...

Didn't Yonex also do a similar thing, with one of the limited edition armortecs ? I think it was the Superbrands version, they spelt it super barands or something like that.
Victor probably made a typo thats all :)

I would like to have Victor racket like this and as I notice all racket are mostly head heavy, so:

middle to head light balance, 84-86g, stiff to middle stiff.

Which racket should I look from Victor line then?

There isn't really one, bit I would recommend from the specs you have given, that the BS09, BS10 and SW36 would be the best choices.

BS09, is slight head heavy, but not too head heavy, it is medium flex and available in 3U/4U.
BS10, is slight head heavy, again not too head heavy, it is stiff, and it's available as well, in 3U/4U
Although BS series is head heavy, the frame shape allows them to move quickly.
SW36 is even balance and medium stiff, I think it is available in 3U/4U, but I would always pick the 3U for all rackets.:)

Isn't SW36 reasonably headheavy (~+300mm)? Aside from that it's hella expensive in Europa (on the continent anyway) and 3U only(?) ... (BS11 even more ridiculous ~€160)

I don't think the SW35/36 are particularly head heavy. To me they feel more like say an Arc10 than an Armortec.

If you want to try a Victor, just do yourself a favour and get them from Eric/RKEP. 160 Euros is ridiculous.

Just going by the specs in the catalogue: for SW36 it lists it at 304 and SW35 at 310 which both are more than AT700 :D. In contrast one website has both at 290 so go figure ... Can't imagine the catalogue ones are measured strung since SW32 is listed at 280mm.
Yeah BS11 and SW36 are significantly more expensive than BS10 and SW35 charging a €20-30 premium. I would probably get them from Singapore or Taiwan but I'm just about to pick up two AT700 old's ;).

Victor are shockingly bad with their specs. I had a play with the new Voltric 70, and that feels like a club compared to my SW35. When I measured my new BS10 and SW35, they both had the same BP and I'm sure it was 290-something. Despite the same BP, they both feel completely different.

I'm really keen to try some other Victor offerings, but I'm not really completely sold on the SP21 or the Bumblebees as being a step forward over the SW's and BS'. The SP21 though does have fantastic graphics. :)

Haha maybe I should get some german coded ones instead. They're called Super Inside Waves here anyway and a lot of the asian models still aren't released that might be a better fit to the specs requested ...

Perhaps the specs in Europe differ from those in Asia. I sold my SG coded 3U SW36 recently as I found it too balanced.

My SW35 has a BP of 298mm, it is german coded. So maybe the SW36 will be 290 +/-3mm. I would rather have an SW35 though.

In my opinion , best Victor racket up to date is Victor super wave 35, 2rd is B.S 9 , which I just sold to get extra cash for N50.

    I just got a Spira 21 today.

it measures 88.8g / BP298. quite to my liking of spec.

gonna string it up with ZM62@27lbs.

strung it at 27lbs with ZM62. the grommet holes have a tighter specification than yonex. but also the quality of the grommet seems to be better.

with the tighter spec though, i am not sure if i would be able to thread 3 thicker strings into one grommet to do my regular pattern. ZM62 is ok.

the feels of the racket is that it is stiff. despite having a slim frame, the racket head is stiff as it didn't deform/compress that much near the end of the cross string. feels like a quality racket.

the weight and balance is slightly head heavy, which is very much to my taste.

    slim shaft and slim frame.

will try it out for real tomorrow. i have high hopes on this.
