Say C and T play each other in an international tournament.

T senses the shuttle getting slower and slower when they should be getting faster.

    1) T asks for a change gets it and the cycle repeats itself. I suppose T will have to adjust as the shuttle change is permanent.

    2) Umpire rejects the change, T breaks the shuttle or crushes it. Is T cheating?

    3) If the shuttle keeps slowing is T allowed to call for a shuttle test to settle the issue?
Is it provided in the rules?
    4) If T keeps complaining then sth must be wrong with T or T is cheating.
    5) Something else I missed?

i think we have covered that somewhere in this thread

if taufik couldn't get his tactic going with the change of shuttle speed he should do something

    vice versa for chen jin

and yes he can request for a shuttle test

its still up to the officiating umpire to decide whether player really encounter such problem with the shuttle

or simply someone wants extra break.

but normally all shuttles are tested before the competition.

someone here also pointed out, could be a poor batch of shuttle that day

Let's not say CJ tempered or cheat here and maybe that was not what TH complained about.
I think TH complained about the shuttle's condition that hampered his net play, not the speed of the shuttle. A faster shuttle, I think, is to TH's disadvantage.

oh but you really should grow out of your superficialness, shouldn't you? after all, just because you refer to yourself as '-man' it doesn't naturally mean that your opinions and thoughts are always cultivated or developed, right? :D

it is amazing that this thread could have so many pages.

when i saw this thread when it was created, it gives me that it is created by a sore loser, trying to discredit someone's success. so i thought this could be ignorable.

"Was Chen Jin cheating?" what a strong accusation!!!

to me, this title is a personal attack rather than rational discussion topic, as there is no solid or proved evidence of such accusation on poor CJ.

"Was biting the shuttle cheating?", this is more like a discussion on a subject matter.

I would recommend moderator to lock or close this thread as the subject itself is unfair and war-inviting.

i don't see it that way and so are many of us here.

the title itself is war-inviting and that is correct

and that is also the reason why there are so many pages.

it shows people are more interested in 'bad news' rather than other news.

however, if you read enough you will find it the opposite

of what you claim this thread is all about.

also your recommended the moderator to lock or close this thread?

just tell me how are they going to lock when they are also contributing?

boy, this show you read the cover only

As in my previous post to the moderators requesting them not to close this thread 'cos we want to know the truth and we are waiting, no matter how long it takes.

it appears we are not making any progress in this thread, and contributors are now making jabs at each other instead of being constructive.

    it is about time we:

    - agree to disagree
    - make your own conclusion

Hard to see any more input. Just read from the top,

maybe use the old fashioned balance or scale and judge which facts, possibilities are heavier and stronger

    and then just decide logically.

Based on the videos, inputs and arguements from all members, one can make their own conclusions, unless new evidence comes up or something from either CJ or TH themselves. Cheers.
