sorry sir, what do you means huge diffrents...vt80 is a very good racket but then maybe i am too old for that..clearence ,smashing ,backhand ,slice..everything there..hehe... i wish nanoray will suite my game and power...thnks anyway...
nanaoray fx..i am not hard hitter..even i just average player who love badminton very much..hehe..played 4 times a weeks..sometimes 5 times a week if i am not going back to kl..weekend..hehehe.
i use n700fx too. welcome to the club..i think we all are pioneer who own the nanoray. even none of pro use this racket yet.
thanks a lot ...how much u bought the racket..i got rm465 without the string..is it cheap or expansive....?
thats consider cheap. from the catalogue recommended string for nanoray racket is bg80power. but from yonex japan website, the recommended string is nbg98 and bg66m. but i prefer bg80power bcoz it design for hard hitter.
You switch from a ultimate head heavy smashing weapon into a head light speedy sword.... Totally different style of play... thats wat he meant by HUGE different. Besides, NR-700FX shaft is not as stiff as VT-80... So it should be lesser burden to you...
I'm still waiting for the reviews of both NR700RP and NR700FX, or better yet, comparison between the two. Anyone, please?
Just a very short review for you, as I am not very good in it. NR-700RP, 3UG5, NBG98 27lbs strung with Yonex ES5Protech Digital Machine. My main racket was NS-9900, 3UG5 (was NBG98 27lbs, now BG80Power 27lbs). Managed to get NR-700RP when I successfully claimed my AT600 last month and trade it with this. Had 2-3 sessions with it, Attack: Obvious head heavier than NS9900, still consider head light balance though, maybe the bp is higher than 9900. This makes it easier to generate powerful smashes compared to NS9900. Placement and netplay are still easy due to its shaft stiffness, no problem with drives. Defence: Swing speed is quick, although NS9900 is still quicker slightly. Back court clears/ stroke not that relaxing (maybe is my own problem not the racket), but mostly more than half court. Defencing smashes is easy due to its swing speed. Might try a few more session with it to be more certain, but overall it is a very decent headlight racket.
technically VT80 is stiffer, but i think the Nanopreme technology in the VT80 shaft makes the difference. It gives you a better 'whipping' feel when you hit the shuttle. Thats what makes you felt it has more repulsion.
already try it last night....very good racket but clear not so good as vt80 maybe myself or before this i get use to vt80 ..good all around... smash very accurate but then u need sometimes to get use to it....to generate more power...hehehe by the way during i bought nanoray i also bought asic gel beyond 27cm saiz ...never use...somebody interested pls PM me ...i bought RM300.00 ..and i want to sell also RM300.00 but nego a bit..due to consider brand new...
thank for ur help. imo...n700fx has kick point toward the tjoint. during smashing i can feel the racket head retract very fast.
Played with the missus fx today Was surprised at the quickness of the racket and defending with it was amazing. and she suggested me to get one for myself...maybe I will get the rp and try Maybe sud go n get one and try
