thanks for the recommandation, but this is my spare racket. i am normally using a MP99. yea i totally agree than this racket is too light and flex for my liking. thus trying to move on to a head heavy attack racket cheers
Guyz, Is there any apparent different btwn L60 and 70 in term of smashing power, control, durability ?
No idea on L60 & L70, but if u looking for smashing power, personally i think L50 smash harder while L60 gives better control & angle placement. Btw, just got myself an arcZ, transition of racket was easy because feel much the same like my L60. They have very similiar length of shaft and head heaviness. Only diff is the faster swing speed that ArcZ offer. Apacs, yes the best value for money racket, for half the price you paying, the feel you get from the racket is almost the same as those expensive ones.
Just thought I'd throw my 2p in. I ordered an Apacs Lethal 70 from apacs-sports.co.uk to replace a Yonex Armortec 900T which didn't survive a clash. Initially I was quite impressed with the quality and immediately proceeded to regrip it and take it along to my local club. However, when I started playing it didn't feel quite right. After a few games I realised the balance was WAY off spec. With the grip added the balance point was 273mm and after removing my extra grip it only increased to 276 a massive 11mm off the lower end of the spec!! Whilst the racket is still playable it defeats the point of the head heavy attacking racket. I have since ordered a new AT900T with the proper head heavy balance of 286mm (gripped). I was tempted to return it but after having gripped it I doubt they would accept the return tl;dr - Check the balance point before you commit to the racket!
^I am one of those cases as well...although I did ask for a more balanced L70 if possible...I ended up getting a head-light one...even lighter than my T300
It's a bit of a shame really, as had the quality control been better this racket would almost certainly have been one of the best available, I've emailed apacs-sports.co.uk to see if there's anything they can do for me. Hopefully they can swap it for an on spec model as surely they can return it to the manufacturer?
is these rackets any good if you comapre to yonex, like arc z-slash vs edge saber z spark.....are they the same??
From what I can gatter they are clones in appearance only, they play completely differently. I hear hear the Z-Spark is itself a very good racket but plays nothing like the Z-Slash. The gems (if you get one on spec) are Apacs own models like the lethal, Visible Hollow and Tantrum. Hope this helps
hi guys, i not sure if you guys can help out on this, i am looking for a apac racket to replace my Yonex mp99 i want something close to the Mp99, however this time round, maybe i wan something, maybe 1 or 2g lighter, and maybe stiffer racket. is there such racket ard? (reason because i clash my racket, and not sure how long can my mp99 holds)
My L70 was head light as well. While good rackets I would not actually suggest the Lethal series anymore as an attacking racket since it seems that most of them are even to head light balance. The tantrum 300 I got was right in the middle of all the specs, very happy about that.
I thought I'd just let everyone know about the reply I received from 'Steve' at Apacs-Sports.co.uk with regards to the off-spec racket. After enquiring whether or not there was a protocol for off spec rackets i received this response, "How do we respond, I got bored reading after I recently!!!!?" (I started my 6 line email with "I recently...") This kind of customer support it outrageous and I encourage people to source their Apacs goods elsewhere as 'Steve' doesn't seem to give much thought to his customers once he has there money. I'm really sorry to tarnish this thread and I have nothing against Apacs, just this particular distributer in the UK. I'm going to try and chase this matter higher up the command chain.
