Chin Chai was already an important member of the BAM Council, presumably representing the NS BA. So he isn't exactly some new blood with new ideas as he he has been part of the decision-making process. However, his new role as the hon. secretary will enable him to work and coordinate with all parties in the BAM, from the president, Council, coaches, GM, players, outside parties, BWF, sponsors, etc. He will have to show neutrality when dealing with other council members. But his boss is still the president.
But it is still Ng without the M sound, the former simply means "yellow" and the latter "not" in Fujianese.
why are you guys microanalyzing somebody's name... hahahahahahaha too much time before the world cup huh
What I meant was it sounded like. Not exactly the same intonation, but just to provide counterpoint. May be the new secretary will be a tough guy. Hope he will do something good for BAM and badminton in Malaysia.
It is better to keep quiet if we do not wish to disclose the source of the info . In this thread, we first started with 'Press Release' news; where the sources of info were given. It is better to keep quiet if we do not wish to disclose the source of the info. .
Look, the BAM council members come mostly, not all, from the many states' badminton associations, after being chosen by the states to be their representatives. They in turn elect the various positions. Ng Chin Chai is a member of the BAM council, representing the Negri Sembilan Badminton Association. So he has been part of BAM, and not someone new. Being a lawyer makes no difference except when potential legal issues like implications of Ganga Rao's dismissal are being discussed. If we want a credible means to contribute something positive then form a Malaysia Badminton Fans Club and then establish a communications channel with BAM. This is a more orderly and a more credible way of getting the fans' opinions through BAM. The type of sometimes childish chatter we see here will be filtered out by this Fans Club so that a more informed and credible viewpoint is sent to the BAM. However, if some of you still want to complain then why not put it in writing and then email to the BAM at admin@bam.org.my?
Hi Limsy, for a start you can email to BAM on whatever "facts" you have uncovered. Nothing like putting your money where your mouth is!
Malaysia Badminton Fans Club - beside filtering childish chatter and getting messages (mostly negative i think) to bam, what would be the other benefits/advantages? i would love to join if its formed
just an idea - a fan club? how about forming a fan club and called it: badminton central badminton fan club or bc badminton fan club or bc international badminton fan club? kwun, would that be alright? since bc is already established with all the ready members (almost every corner of the world) just why not? every member contribute something by pay-pal, there will be some fund to hire somebody to do something.. seriously, anybody agrees?
Such a club iwill be too diffused and what will be its objective anyway? Look at soccer, we have MU Fans Club, Bayern Munich Fan Club, and they objective is focused on their club, to cheer, support, have a dialoge with, and sometimes to fund the club too. Likewise in badminton, but it must be specific to a national team. There is no such thing as a world nation in badminton to compete for the TC and UC. Malaysia and Indonesia have large groups of organized supporters for the ir country. They and their leaders could be the nucleus of a national fans club.
haha u will know in near future that what i will contribute to bam and malaysia badminton please be patient and take care of ur health email to bam eh? who will read? president? chief coach? council member? vice president? secretary? is there any need to send email to bam? they know the best as what the player told me is happening anytime and everytime lol
If you want to you can send a copy to every member of the BAM council, every state badminton association, everyone in Bukit Jalil, and every player in the national squad plus all the coaches, with a copy to the media. This way you won't miss many of the intended audience.
bc taneepak badminton fan club (i.e. you are the sponsor) if thats the case, can have: bc malaysia badminton fan club, bc indonesia badminton fan club or even bc taneepak badminton fan club (i.e. you are the sponsor). seriously anybody think its possible?
Don't you think a SC MU Fan Club (for soccer central Manchester United Fan Club) will look out of place? No MU fan will join.
