    yonex lasted almost 6 months
currently pro ace - start of second week already showing signs of wear and tear. The glue is coming off soon as of now (1 month old)

Maybe it's my lousy footwork that kills those shoes. played around 3 to 5 times a week.

I have a Yonex SHB-F1MX which lasted me 6 months! Quite disappointing really. I play on average around 2-3 times a week, around 2 hours each, mostly doubles.
The overhead ripped off from the soles at the front. =p

I am too looking for shoes that are durable. Any thoughts on APAC footwear?

I think it has been known that Yonex shoes are not durable. Apacs performed badly too as according to what my friends said. For durability, go for Asics or Mizuno.

I have yet to try Li Ning, Kawasaki, Kumpoo or maybe Victor...

its recommend to change shoe every 3yrs even its good condition from its outlook.
the rubber will lose the optimum functionality to absorb impact after 3 yrs.
if u not so particular on performance based then you could wear until its broken

I think hardly there are any shoes that can last 3 years if worn extensively.

If you play 2-3 times a week with advance skills, 3-6 months on average. ;)

So, you decide if you want to waste your money on more expensive shoes. ;)

Yeah, can confirm what extremenanopowe wrote. It's basically not the sole that makes trouble, it's the cushioning. If I really wanna save some bucks or am not fancy on spending too much money, I can use them for 6 months maybe. Cushioning usually gets less effective way before.

It depends on how you use your shoes though.

I wear li-ning hero(ayaf003) for both volleyball and badminton. I've been wearing it since December last year and each of my sessions are like 3 hour each. I play volleyball 3 times a week and badminton once or twice a week. I'm still wondering how can I spoil my shoes.
