I meant educational purpose as in that the match showcases a lot of very high quality shot making by both players. What were you thinking haha
I mean the same I'm sure that match is very interesting. The match show us how to play good badminton : perfect footwork, great control, super stroke, amazing defense and attack, etc. Just like 2011 Final WC, isn't it? I don't download the video yet. But, in your opinion, which is the best match? Final 4 Kings or 2011 WC Final??
Now this is an interesting question.. Put it this way, IMHO the 2011 WC Final was played between two arch-rivals each representing his own country using his most intense and focused sportmanship (the utmost desire to win) mentality, while the 4 Kings match felt like two good buddies having their best time playing their most natural badminton game against each other
It is the Li Ning N50, with PU overgrip in LCW's fashion. It has been a talk in the Chinese forums, referencing LD's comment on the N90 where he said "if the racquet is not good, [he] would not have changed to using it (from the last racquet)", that regarding his recent changes from N90 to N50-2 and now N50, "if LD is not good/pro, he would not have been constantly switching racquets"
@Blitzz : Pic please... Specially from Chinese Forum BTW, whta is the meaning of "if the racquet is not good, [he] would not have changed to using it" ?
I am not a reporter lol But here is what the Chinese forumers have been discussing about, see for yourself: That was a quote by Lin Dan which was publicised in the Li Ning N90 advertisements (I have personally seen the quote and the advertisement written in Chinese, am not sure if it was ever translated to English). In other words he meant that the main reason he switched to N90 is because the N90 is a better racquet than his old AT700. Now the Chinese forumers are saying that the main reason LD is constantly switching racquets from N90 to N50-2 to N50 is because LD is an outstanding player
You're not. But you always provide picture every time we(BC members) ask Thank you Blitzz Can you give me the link of that Chinese Forum?
Badmintoncn.com, there you go. No worries, Rocker. I trust that you can read Chinese as sometimes the language that the forumers there use can be quite "modern" and not traditional as taught in the Chinese language textbooks
Just like the Chinese forumers say, if LD isn't that outstanding a player, he would not be able to afford to do such thing
I think Lin Dan use N50 because LiNing need more promotion for this racket. Why? because Fu Hai Feng use Kason . No matter what racket he used, just a little difference for him
I certainly do not see the possibility of LD switching to the headlight, soft flex N77 and N77-2. At least the N50 and N50-2 have a pretty stiff even though slightly less stiff compared to the N90. There is at least still a good reason why he would choose to try the similarly designed (both LD and FHF are big left handed smashers remember?) N50 and N50-2 rather than a beginner's racquet (or simply any racquet).
I agree.. N50, N50-II, N90, N90-II and N55 are all viable alternatives for LDs playing style.. NS70,70-II,77,77-II,30,30-II,33,33-II,60 are probably not rackets that he would go for imop.
Actually, I can't read Chinese. I use translate menu in Google chrome. That's enough to make me understand BTW, in early round of HK Open, Lin dan use N50II with his usual modification(athletic tape on top of head, half towel grip)
Yes, you right. Not 'any racket' but similar racket with N90. thanks for correction Btw, yesterday i try N50. A little bit head light and flex compare to N90II
The above racket doesnt seem to be N50 . From 2 beer picture, at the side of the racket on the left is greyish, on the right is black. But N50 is red. http://www.bbesports.com/wzgl/ProductShow.asp?ID=1198
Dude, you need to change the colour contrast on your computer monitor or buy a new one with better and higher picture colour resolution!
Its 100% N50 look .. I think LD likes the N50 for defense and with a shaft designed for Fu Haifeng, I think the power is OK as well. I do not think there are any marketing behind this, as it really would not make sense for LN to encourage Lin Dan to promote a little less expensive model than the N90 and not the latest model as well..
