Yes it's good, better than wooden racquets for sure. All these 'good'/'better' things depend upon your personal preference. If you're a wristy defensive player who prefers using head-light racquets, the at900p 4u may not be 'good'.
So a bunch of friends and I decided to play and I lent all my racquets out to them, considering that they're much easier to use for newbies: you know, MP 630, kTour, kStrike and a Ti5. This left me stuck with my Armortec Technique, which I originally didn't fancy so much. Anyway, I decided to get it restrung with BG-66 at 24 pounds and I took off the overly thick Yonex overgrip that I struck on it and now I can honestly say that I've never been happier with a racquet. All in all, I have to go back on my original assessment and say that this was worth it after all. The moral of the story is, a good string job is absolutely essential to making sure that your racquet plays to its full potential.
Can someone confirm for me the balance point of an AT900T 4UG4? I'm getting next week!! woop!!!! But there is one thing i'm rather worried about... and that's the durability of 4U rackets supposedly... In the UK only the 4U one is available. I prefer lighter rackets anyway because of maneuvrability. Im just worried it may snap on me... Im gona get BG80s on it. I like to smash often but i do defend quite a bit sometimes too. Im going to keep the tension lowish 22Ibs in case of crack... Does that seem to be a good choice?
With just tension 22lbs? Not that powerful enough to smash for your AT900T. I would suggest you use BG80 with string tension 25lbs.
I would think so too. But i'm worried the racket will break. since ive heard so much durability problems about AT900T 4U...
Nothing wrong with the durability of the AT900T. Ive had one, fine still with racket clashes. Had mine strung with BG80 @ 24", strings broke bit after 6 months. Got it restrung with BG80 - i requested 25" but it definitely feels less than 24" (comparing to my other rackets). Smash is weaker Go for 24-25, its within the recommended range on the cone, so if it breaks should be able to warranty it...
I may string it to 24Ibs then. I'm just overly paranoid with these things. Does anyone know the balance point of the AT900T strung?
I strung my AT900T CH version at 27,28lbs n still going well.I don't think u guys should worry too much on this.The pros even done it at over 30lbs,on 4Us.So,as long as the stringer is good,u don't have to worry about it.

Without string and extra grip,305mm After added all of them 295-300。。Around that. I have 4U and 3U,and the 4U is head heavier than the 3U.And from what i heard,every yonex racket's 4U's head is heavier than 3U.
just gotten my AT900 Power strung with NBG98 at 25lb. somehow, it feels like a stronger version ARC10 when i swing it. I'm gonna try it tonight.
Looks immense with red strings. Your grip looks awefully thick though. Do you not think it alters the balance of the racket? I like my AT900T headheavy.
