yea...now that you mention it Kuan BH sometimes is really lacking concertation which results to unforce errors the more his rival pick up points , the more he get nervous , he needs to be more relax & concerntere on his game.. as for Hafiz H he just lack confidence :)

Kuan Beng Hong hopes to play until 2010

    .
Even now (03-Oct-2009), Muhammad Hafiz Hashim and Kuan Beng Hong are still at the top in the Malaysian Singles events.

    And Kuan Beng Hong said:

“I cannot leave the national team when the youngsters are not ready to take over. The seniors’ domination in the National Circuit shows that the back-up shuttlers still have some catching-up to do”.

“I can still provide quality sparring for my team-mates. I hope to play for another year, and then I will make up my mind whether to continue or give up.”

Talented MAS players (like Lee Chong Wei) are not easy to find

    .
:D:D:D Hahaha...... You guys are funny. :D:D:D

But to comment on a more serious note: Talented and hard-working MAS players (like Lee Chong Wei) are not easy to find.

actually, the whole SYSTEM doesnt encourage development of players...

BAM should not choose "BJSS" Student only can put up more tournamnet for selection instead.

    Yes, exactly.....

I was curioused where those young players from states, from badminton clubs in the country......i am sure there must be lots more youngsters who have talents and not able to study in BJSS out there.....:)

The system seems not encourage these players to be in National team...just wasted those non-BJSS talents. :)

    .
If this is the case, it will discourage newer players/stars to enter Badminton in Malaysia. :(

    A theory

no money in badminton maybe the reason:p

    By Claire Barthelemy
    For CNN

(CNN) -- A new international poll has revealed that money is the main source of stress in most countries --- but men and women often don't worry about the same things.

A poll finds that money is the number one reason for stress in most countries -- no matter which currency.

The survey, which was conducted by Reader's Digest, asked people from 16 countries one simple question: What stresses you the most?

A total of 150 participants from each country chose between money, family, health and state of the world. The result shows that most participants consider money to be the number one reason for stress.

The recession has not only left its mark in our bank accounts, but also in our minds.

Malaysia leads the list with 58 percent of participants stating money to be their biggest concern, followed by China and Singapore with both 55 percent. Third one in the list is the United States with 48 percent of participants blaming the dollar for their stress.

    Off topic-Interestingly..

..3 of those 4 countries listed have probably the most active members in BC...I'm sure kwun and the mods are quite happy those members come to BC to find some relief for their stress??..:cool:
Hmm, I wonder where Canada is on the list?? i know there are quite a few Canadiens in BC..[IMG];)

    The system is wrong

Once the foundation is not right, no matter what we do our results will always be poor. In our case, the country is not producing top shuttlers nor results despite the support and funding. Our sports across the board is terminally ill. Politicians and their yes men have screwed it up.

I was not around in the 60s and 70s, but I heard from my parents, uncles etc etc that our football team comprised of various races then and we were feared in Asia. Now our football is mainly 99% malays, the balance 1% will be 1-2 indian chaps sitting on the bench. I find it hard to believe that the chinese cant play football likewise for those East Malaysians. Just like badminton something is wrong, right?

Sports should not be about colour.
