Lu Qicheng indeed was part of the National Team before. He was born in 1988 (turning 24 this year) and won the AJC title 7 years ago in 2005. There was no WJC that year...instead it was held on 2006 and Hong Ji Hoon won the WJC title in 2006, while Chen Jin won the title in 2004.

Both INA XD pairs progress to QF after straight-sets victories. Tougher opponents will await them for a place in SF later this afternoon.

    XD QF
    Irfan Fadhilah/Wenni Anggraini
[1] vs Lee Sang Joon/Lee So Hee [6] - this will be a tough match for Irfan/Wenni, facing one of the WJC winner last year. I hope they can beat the Korean pair.

Ryota Taohata/Megumi Yokoyama [5] vs Riky Widianto/Richi Dili Puspita [2] - the 3rd Japanese pair for Riky/Richi this tourney. I think they can progress to the QF.

INA MS have fallen behind Japan. Even Kenta Momota can progress to QF. Jenna/Komala also appear to be another wasted partnership. Once again, Jenna will probably be better in XD.
