U choose Brown Eyed Girls over Wonder Girls? 'Nobody' is the only song that I like. Brown Eyed Girls's Abracadabra is my favourite. Love their famous cocky dance.

    Well yeah, I do.

Personally I've listened through both their materials and the Wonder Girls didn't keep me interested for long whilst I've had Volume 1 and 2 of the Brown Eyed Girls on my playlist over and over again, just like when I found SeeYa (many years late...) last year. What appeals to me about the BEGs is how well they sing - saw a few of their other stuff on Youtube and I thought this group can really carry a tune, not just look pretty and dance suggestively.

Perhaps the Wonder Girls are good in dance and auto-tuned music, but the BEGs can handle everything from R&B and ballads like veterans in the industry. The mixture of their vocal ranges + 1 great rapper is simply good stuff.

Well, Volume 3: Sound G was where I stopped listening - they decided to go down the path of electronica and vocoder to follow the trend; I haven't found a single thing I liked from there.

Well it's all personal preferences - many people actually liked Abracadabra a lot whilst I couldn't listen to it more than once. I'm just the guy who likes smooth r&b, ballad with a bit of pop thrown in. ;)

Then perhaps u like 2AM? They sing the type of songs that you're into. This group are specially formed to sing ballad and r&b. ;):D

Will do - initital impression sounds all right so far, though I'm quite wary of 'boy bands' if you know what I mean. :)

Just noticed it's actualy Dong Fang Shinki. Heard a few other of their songs and I don't know if it's just me but they don't sound different from one member or song, to the other.

Speaking of 'sky', I happen to like Fly To The Sky's 2006 "Transition" album.

Strange enough I actually like some of Kim Jong Kook's stuff ..

그녀의 남자에게 - To Her Man

It's a very bittersweet song and I seem to sing this song far too often in life... :(

Speaking of Fly To The Sky, this R&B duo were my first influence in loving korean music. Though they got disbanded with Brian and Fany went solo, they will always remain in my heart as the best group. Brian sang English songs well considering he's a American Born Korean.

    well
they are creating their own legend and history in both korea and japan
    so,i wont comment any further:D
last week, they recorded the highest selling album all over the world(weekly)
    with 400k++
and guess what, lady gaga is only at number 3;)

    haha
    well
max can go for the highest note
and each of them have different style in singing
and they are equally good in singing
anyway, and if u can imagine the so called strongest boy group artist in asia(chinese, after f4) Fahrenheit(from taiwan),open their mouth big when tvxq is singing,u can know tvxq is not known well by their look only
that is the different between singer+ dancer+idol artist and idol artist:p

Well popularity is not a good barometer of talent...

F4 and Fahrenheit? I steer clear of them (and those of their likes) as much as I can. It's also the same reason I'm a bit apprehensive about 2AM as they seem to be cut from the same cloth.

I suppose I'm past the use-before date when it comes to boy/girl bands so it's a pleasant surprise to listen to BEGs (first two albums only) and (just one album off) Fly to the Sky that is a lot more sophisticated than just the same old love song - it's like listening to TLC or Luther Vandross, but in Korean. :)

    haha
if u dont think they are talented
    its ok to me
as far as i enjoy their voice very well
todate, they are the only singer i found can sing live better than the cd;)
they enjoy a world record of having more than 800000 fans in their fans club,i think already break 1 million and it still world record

IMO, SNSD is a group of girl performers under SM Entertainment rather than a permanent singing group per se - their individual members do other things solo like acting on television. Still, some of their stuff are as catchy as heck - cheemao listed the newer ones.

You can see the direction of their music and image now - down the same path as the Wonder Girls, I suppose that's how the likes of Tara and SeeYa's comeback would probably be like as well...

Still, group leader Kim Taeyeon is possibly the most talented singer in there - she is not as popular (read: purdy) as a few others there but is well liked for the singing. She's done two solos for television and they are very good.

Read so much about Lee So Young but haven't actually heard of any, it's time to scour for some moozak!

Are you joking? That's my second home after badminton central:p

in asia, it's usually the popular singers who cross over into movies, hosting, dramas etc right? eg SHE, F4, Fahrenheit in Taiwan; Twins in Hong Kong

Their next concept will be the 'Dark Soshi' as shown in the end of the Oh! MV, should be pretty interesting

 Are you sure she is not popular? She has by far the most replies in her personal forum on the international SNSD fan site - soshified.com and acknowledged as the dorky leader and the best singer in SNSD. Not to mention one of the cutest and youngest face in the group to boot, though she is really the oldest among them. On a sidenote, Jessica sings really well and Sunny has a good voice too

Here are some storylines for ya enjoyment
