Everyone in here seems to not like the price of shuttle. I have a friend that live in ShenZhen, so I can ask him to ship over shuttle that he can get hold of in ShenZhen. I haven't pay attention to the brand of shuttle and where it is made. I play at a club that provide Hi-Que and Victor shuttles, both of these are ok quality. I personally like Areoplan and SeaLion. I am wondering how many people is interested in getting shuttle if I order a lot and ask my friend to ship over? To be fare with my friend, I am going to pay him a percentage of shuttle cost (not sure how much right now). I'll most likely getting Areoplan. Any one know much much is 1doz of Areoplan cost in Toronto? Can you also post the price for different grade if you know? thanks.
1 tube of good shuttles= $30 1 good racket= $200++ Grips+strings+etc=$30++ Those calories burned= priceless There's something that money can't buy For everything else there's Mastercard
make contribute to lower down shuttle price in these way: 1.Find a method to control Bird Flu 2."Invent" wonderful dishes made by goose meat, that would encourage aviculture of gooses
The reason shuttlecock prices keep on increasing I am the distributor for RCL brand shuttlecock in Malaysia. The main reason shuttlecock prices keep on increasing is because of the feather. Of course there are other reasons too, you can check out the website below to understand more why the prices keep on increasing. http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/sports/2006-03/15/content_545515.htm
of course shuttles need to spoil. if plastic cups dont break like glass ones, why do people still want to buy glass cups? if apple decides to make an ipod that would last literally forever, then lets say it sells for $1. 6 billion people buy this product. apple get $6billion. if apple made it to last only a year, then they would be getting $6billion each year.
Reasons Shuttlecocks Prices Increase Maybe you guys can refer to the following link http://www.chinadaily.com.cn/sports/2006-03/15/content_545515.htm To have a better understanding of why shuttlecocks prices increase.
yes, agreed that the price keeps on increasing. the birds are on strike I think. Am still keeping the sealion tournament grade shuttles at same old price. Not sure how long this can be sustained. Buying 10 tubes would be a better option because of the discounts.
Like just about every other product, try making one yourself!! Could YOU even buy a feather for a buck, no less buy the materials, build a machine, and pay for the labor for a buck a pop!??! Be thankful that so many wonderful products are available at amazingly cheap prices!! Four of us players play three or four games with one bird for about 9 to 13 cents per player per game! Seems like very cheap entertainment to me!!!
I like Hi Qua Red best, but not everyone provides these. ALSO, we are Seniors (ages 55+) practicing for Senior Games! My wife and her partner finished in 7th place in the National Senior Games in both 2005 and 2007. We have each won Gold and Silver at the NC Senior Games. SO, don't picture us as out on a lawn with Wal-Mart rackets!! We do however concentrate on 'trickery' rather than 'power'!
You don't have to post read font for us to notice. Most of us here don't have the time to make shuttlecocks so it would be cheaper to buy them
The color RED is an option! I don't post in 'READ', I post in 'RED"! Exactly my point! Thanks for noticing!! Given enough time and money nearly anything is possible! But 'most of us' don't have the time, or money, or talent to make shuttlecocks for less than about $1.50 each! So, they are really a very high quality product for a very low price!!
We all use our abilities to our best advantage! Hopefully the young 'Hot Shots' will live long enough to appreciate that, and to see just how well they play as octogenarians (being from 80 to 89 years old)!!
i started badminton late in my life. With that said, i plan to dominate the world ranking, in the 85+ age bracket
