    let's all go packed up and watch golf ;)

    integrity, sportsmanship vs the lure of money

    in any sport, there is always some willing takers but this does NOT mean it's OK.

    XD is a gentler game to play

    .
    Actually, XD is a gentler game to play; And I love playing it.

    I hope to play more games of XD. But unfortunately, in Melbourne, Australia, for every 10 players only 1 is a female. :crying::crying::crying:

    :D:D:D No way... Melbourne is already too cold a place to live for me.

    Currently as I type, Melbourne is at 14.7°C.

    Hope for warmer temperature soon; something over 20.0°C.

    Ya, you can bet most of the time the girls are out mountain-climbing or sea-surfing. The tan proves it.

    It looks like Chen Long will be World No.2 on Thursday 27-Oct-2011

    .
    The 2011 Denmark SSP has just finished.

    Points to be added are;

    Chen Long.........Winner..........11000 points
    Lee Chong Wei...Runner up.......9350 points
    Peter Gade........Placed 3/4.......7700 points
    Lin Dan.............Placed 9/16.....4320 points
    Taufik Hidayat...Placed 9/16......4320 points

    I do not know what points will be dropped off for each of the players (from last year, this week), but it looks like on Thursday 27-Oct-2011, Chen Long would overtake Lin Dan as World No.2.

    LCW is going to compete in French Open right? Somehow I don't think that's a good idea. I'm aware that top 10 players have to play certain numbers of the superseries according to BWF's rule. But shouldn't he take a break for awhile? His strategy to maintain his points for OG by playing many tournaments is backfiring. Lin Dan on the other hand, is being pretty smart by choosing what tournaments he wants to compete in seriously. He still got points, although less than LCW but enough for OG. Lin Dan is resting well enough, whilst LCW is pushing himself too hard.

    In the last 12 moths, LCW has played in not more tournaments than the other top players;

    LCW...11
    PG......11
    LD......13
    CL......14
    TH......15
    CJ.......15

    Source: http://bwfcontent.tournamentsoftware.com/ranking/category.aspx?id=2645&category=472

    I still think that LCW is OK with 11 tournaments in 12 months. It's in playing, he gets stronger players in sparring matches. Staying at home in Malaysia, he gets none.

    I see. Thanks for the info chris! Yet, LCW's stamina not as it used to be, at least to me. He looked a little out of breath after his match against Chen Jin. I should blame that on his age catching up with him? Guess I'll see it for myself in French Open.

    I felt sorry for LCW, he is now stucked in between the existing legend and an upcoming legend.

    If CJ qualifies, LCW need to have 3 whammies. It's like an appertizer, then main course and lastly desserts? ;) lol.

    He got lots of karma with him. Must have done something wrong in previous life? lol. ;)

    Again, he shd have lost to PG in DO. ;)
