Nope, my supplier says it's only in 4U. I think of it as Yonex CSR - too many arm injuries from the 3U version
Is there any differencet in playability between a limited version and the original version? I had read somewhere the limited version was supposed to be more stiffer, is there any truth to this claims?
There is a seller in taobao who provides pictures of VTZF Ltd in 3U/G5 http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=14014333510
@Licin = I am not sure ... needs to review more pics of the ltd version before deciding... Most of my friends prefer to buy the green version.... it seems that the ltd version is not favorable by them
The green version also looks good. I do like the LTD version as well. However, since you already own the green, why not buying the LTD also, for the sake of owning VTZF series ? You could be one of the very few first BC members who are able to do comparison on VTZF & VTZF LTD which i believe we are all looking forward for that..
Isn't it all the reason of why they exist ? Just making money and more of it, the more the better. One of the victim that i am aware of is me
My friend just got a limited version for me from Singapore for around 265 sgd ( includes free grip, strings and bag), can't wait to get my hands on it. Currently I am using an AT700, so I am curious to see how this racket compares to it
I just received the racket, must say it looks lovely. Just to confirm, this is a 2012 ltd racket, 3U G4 version, made in Japan, but SP coded, bought from Singapore queensway mall....
VTZF vs SW35 vs AT700 Had a few hitting sessions with the new VT ZF LTD (3U G4 strung with BG 80 Power @ 23 lbs) and I must say I am loving this racket. Compared to my AT700, this racket is slightly more head-heavier and more stiffer. Defense :- I was truly surprised with the defense capabilities of this racket. On holding the racket, I initially got a feeling that the racket might be slightly sluggish, but the racket was really really fast. Offense :- Better smashes than even my AT700, which is a pretty good benchmark. If I compare this racket with AT700 and my previous racket SW35,

Smashes Defense Control Stiffness

SW35 8.5/10 8/10 8.5/10 8.5/10

AT700 9/10 7/10 8/10 8/10

VTZF 9.5/10 8.5/10 8.5/10 8.5/10

As for the colour of the LTD version, I must say that the photos do not do much justice, the glossy finish looks really good on the racket. Plus in the photos the gold colour looks more prominent, whereas in real life, the white and purple is more prominent.
I said it before, it is a bit too sexy for my liking...however, it kind of looks a lot more Transformeresque than the original VTZF's hulking green.
I am an AT700 lover/fan and for that I kind of like the way VTZF rates higher, means I have something to contemplate upon (...life after AT700)...not that it would make a difference in my point of view. Hey, looks like the top 3 of all time (...though the latter has still a long ways to go while the former 2 had already left an indelible mark.)? Good job, thanks.
