You're right about that, Matt. So easy for the retailer to just email the distributor and Yonex for their imput before making such a harsh statement. The customer paid big money for the racquet. Who knows Yonex may just replace it and it doesn't cost a penny to the store, and it retains a loyal customer!!
28/30 both on my ZS and NS 9900. I had my NS 3 months before ZS, and it's still in good condition. both are string by same stringer
Opps, that's suppose to be "suspected" As I mentioned before, it's stringer experience. The stringer quality would also become a factor. When the string was complaining about the racket, that in on itself sounded a bit odd based on my earlier reply.
The ZS is great, though I agree that the paint seems a little fragile. I'm having the devil's own job stringing it, BG85, which I love, at 26/28 breaks within a fortnight, possibly due to the cold here. Its now got BG80 at 22/24, which works, but doesn't impress me, I agree with EasyTiger about it. The 85 is zingy and exciting, the 80 is just a workhorse. Two of the places I play at are really icy, I dare'nt string tighter than that . No one seems to sell BG85 here in France, in Thailand it was the most popular and recomended. maybe its a warm weather string. As for the racquet, well it suits me. My previous racquet was a weird one that was short it was hopeless for power shots, though I realise now that it being weak in that area forced me to improve my technique to get the best out of it. When i apply what i've learned to the ZS, my smashes are going off like bombs. literally, I got in one a couple of weeks ago the bird fell apart when it hit the floor! I'm proud of that one!
no no no im bying it fo real i dont know if its best to bye it now, maybey the change color in a month and then yellow would be lame
Huh, finally... Thank's God, Yonex is replacing my broken Z Slash, getting the new one next week... Anyone who wanna buy Z Slash AU 3u G4 in Melbourne, Australia. Please PM me, cause I don't want to use Z S anymore.
It's a good racket, it just that the grommet hole really small, make it difficult to string 2 piece. Hopefully the Arc Saber 8DX, have bigger grommet like in my Nano Speed 9900.
How good are you ? If you have good technique and are able to consistently hit the sweetspot then the ArcZ is a really good racket. If you aren't quite as consistent get the At900t it is really forgiving so even the really off shots still go rufly where you wanted them to
