    Hi Steve,

A good start will be the clubs registered under Sydney Badminton Association (SBA) or the Greater Badminton Area of Sydney (GBA). They are rival associations running and managing their own parallel tournaments and clubs. The game you get depends on where you live. It would be hard to find clubs in outer Sydney. Most of those places listed are open every evening (with different organisors maybe).
About the best clubs...... if you mean with the best players around, they are usually the universities' clubs. Otherwise most clubs are organised well and friendly who will welcome anybody from a beginner to a national player ( not too many in Sydney though).

Good luck in your hunt for clubs to play.

    Hi Steve,

I do hope you enjoy your badminton at Castle Hills. It's quite a well known club with games on every evening. Also it's a straight ride along the motorway.

    Cheers.

Yes, Castle Hill may be a bit far for you but you must remember lots of badminton players live round that area. Hence lots of clubs in that area. You might like to consider Dulwich Hill ( yes another hill) but this one is just past Newtown, just off Canterbury Road. Might be more convenient for you. They play on Friday and it's in Dulwich Hill Public School. There are about 5-7 better graded players ( B and above) playing on a Friday. Otherwise you can try Flypower at Mascot, which has youngish good players. Details are in the SBA website.

    All the best

    Cheers
