i notice in your profile that you're female, playing with plastic birds may i ask what level? beginner, intermediate, high level? reason i ask is that the ns9900 racket is too stiff for beginner, especially female beginner so... this may be a good time to change to a more appropriate racket for you something more flexible eg. Arcsaber 9, it's in pink too!
Yes I may be a female but I dislike pink very much. I rarely play with feathered birds because the ones that my mom bought twirl in the air so I don't use them often. And as for my level you could say I'm intermediate now. Beginner means still learning the basics of badminton right?
lol, ok, no pink then so, ok go for another ns9900 then have you checked out tad's sports at granville and 70th? http://tadssports.ca/ (their website is currently down due to maintenance) they have the most competitive prices around for racket sports i believe their prices include stringing and they give a 10% discount if you mention you're a member of this forum! that should save your friend some $, right?
thanks for store name (Long time since i smiled because of this incident). I'm going to check it out tomorrow but do you know the price for the nanospeed 9900 (i really liked the swing and feeling when playing, helped me with my drops) impulse sports (richmond) sells for 259.99 for racuqet then 13 for stringing
i'm not sure... $220, i seem to remember if that includes strings, and 10% discount on top of that that would make it $200 before tax, strings included?
Finally i can go to bed and be a bit more peaceful. "Cheers" (Just learnt that from my british friend)
Max sports are an authorized dealer for Yonex, in Toronto. They are very well known and have a good reputation. Their price includes string, stringing, taxes and shipping. I think the NS9900 is listed at $260. Here is the link if you wish http://maxsports.ca/store/index.php
It's actually $250 at max sports, and it's free shipping too for orders over $200! So maybe you could look into that since you live in vancouver.
They give a discount for being a member of BC ? How come I haven't seen this before Good luck in getting the new racket, Dorythefish, report back when you get it.
Have to wait until Monday to tell my friend where to buy it and how much. Should I charge him $302 (this is how much it costs plus stringing and taxes at Impulse Sports at Aberdeen, Richmond) or $225 (the price for the NS9900 at Tad's Sporting Goods).
So the $225 includes stringing but is there a 10% discount for being a member of this forum? If you look on the right side of their front page website, there is a mention of this discount. Of course you should only charge the actual price. You have to show your friend the receipt don't you?
The problem is that I bought the racquet in Hong Kong at Rose Sports Goods. I don't know how much it was. But right know Impulse Sports does not have any in stock at the moment while Tad's Sporting Goods does.
