Pia/Rizki took the first-set 21-15 and are now off to a quick 8-3 lead.

Compared to CHN players, INA/MAS girls' screams are like kitten's meows...

for me, Pia/Rizki is much better than Mel/Grace... faster, more agile, creative attacking play (not just smash and smash).... hope they will be better and better... :)

YES! 1 title guaranteed in WD after Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth/Rizki Amelia Pradipta beat the third-seed from MAS 21-15, 21-15. Both girls have really performed extremely well after leaving Pelatnas.

What I can say is that the Pelatnas's WD (and XD) coaches are too slow in reforming pairs that are not performing well and they are not that receptive to players like Rizki, who wishes to switch from WS to WD. If both girls beat their younger Pelatnas counterparts who have been paired for more than 2 years each, it will be a slap in the faces of Pelatnas's WD coaches. This is especially after Pelatnas's no 2 WD pair Nitya Krishinda Maheswari/Anneke Feinya Agustine lost to Pia/Rizki last week.

They will be better as they are younger and much more agile (esp Rizki). Pia also looks slimmer than Grace. Mel/Grace are over-rated.

Second set also belongs to Indo girls 21 - 15

hmmmm my observation while watching the game is that Ina girls have problem with their physical. IF the match went to a decider i think that the Mas girls could have topped the Ina girls. both Ina players also 'like' to express their exhaustion to their opponent (not a wise move).

they better do something about this, especially in a SS level when the mighty chinese girls are in the house. Pia/Rizky need to win the game on 2sets other wise Dewi Fortuna will not be on their side due to the above reason :)

Credit to Mas girls, they young and so full of energy

Technically, Mel/Grace is a little bit better than Pia/Rizky.. however i can say that Pia/Rizky can improve in that department, they have the advantage of being single player in the past and have good court coverage. they are younger (22 and 23), Pia has deceptive shots like her brother and Rizky has powerfull smashes and good placement.

I think INA WS players must have female coach's touch. We can see good progress from WS players after LCS and Vera coach them.
