Meirisa Cindy is born 96 (not 98 like written in PBSI website). Watching video from Sirnas Palangkaraya last year, she look good as double player, tall and big power. Berliyan has many various shot in front side while Cindy on back side. Cindy is seeded-1 in U-17 Single & Double (paired with Berliyan) while Berliyan plays in GS U-19.
Well done M Nur Rofii/Aris Budiharti upset the top seed Andhika/Keshya. Good job for Aris who is just promoted from U-19 to Open Division in XD. Just checked her partner profile, M Nur Rofii still 20. Any info??
While in U-15 Gregoria still stroll in park. She will up against DJM players Agdevika in QF. Semifinal line-up in GS U-19 Rina Andriani[1] vs Berliyan Sudrajat. Will it be Berliyan's first final in Sirnas U-19 division?? (Not sure if she ever reached final in U-19, pls CMIIW) Setyana Mapasa[4] vs Rahayu Mutia Setyana shd progress to next round. I wanna see a "Berliyan vs Setyana" final!
Some interesting results in GS U-15 Ersa Narulia.R [3] d Serena Kani 30-28 18-21 21-18, long match in 55 minutes Gregoria Mariska [5] d Aurum Oktavia Winata 21-16 21-13, convincing win by Gregoria Gabriela Meilani Moningka d Jauza Fadhila Sugiarto [8] 21-14 21-16, upset by Bella, beat Jauza (Icuk's daughter) in 2 sets.
M Nur Rofii is a former Pelatnas Pratama player (cmiiw)... relegated in 2009 or 2010. not sure.... small chance to enter Pelatnas again i think...
I hope she can enter Djarum because of her talent, not because of her father... hopefully she can become another hope in woman division someday but still, no Djarum BS in U-17 like Andrew Susanto, M Bayu Pangisthu etc.... some names like Rudy Cahyadi Budiawan and other name in U-19 are also left on the camp why ??
With the absence of the top BD U-19 pairs from Djarum & Jaya Raya, the Taruna division is dominated by pairs that are still 15-16 yo! The top 2 seeds are undoubtedly R. Eka Fajar Kusuma/Rian Swastedian (3 Sirnas titles in U-17 last year) and Jeka Wiratama/Raffidias Akhdan Nugroho (2 Sirnas titles in U-17 last year). I expect the 2 pairs to meet each other in the Final. The dark horses are: Hantoro/Arsya Isnanu Ardi Putra (won the Astec Open title late last year in U-17) and Rizko Azuro/Wildan Atmaja (2 Sirnas titles in U-17 last year). Rizko/Wildan beat Tedi Supriadi/Yantony Edi Saputra (won the Pertamina Open title last year in U-17) in 3 tight-sets. In general, I will expect these 4-5 promising young pairs to dominate the scene in BD U-19 IF the top 3 U-19 pairs are promoted to Dewasa division. Also, with the promotion of those above mentioned pairs from U-17 to U-19, the scene in BD U-17 is completely new this year. There's no particularly eye-catching new pairs from either Jaya Raya or Djarum.
MD Dewasa is also kinda "boring" with the absence of Didit Juang Indrianto/Praveen Jordan. The imminent departure of Fernando Kurniawan and Dandi Prabudita to HKG & Singapore respectively will mean that Wifqi Windarto will need to find a new partner. I also saw that Rizky Susanto is now already in Singapore. What about Rizky Yanu Kresnayandi....is he going to Singapore too (as Hau-Ge reported)? Fernando Kurniawan/Wifqi Windarto actually had a productive 2011, winning one IC title (Vietnam IC), and runner-up in another one (White Nights International) plus 3 Domestic titles (Candra Wijaya Men's Doubles Championships, Sirnas Jatim Open and BNI Astec Open). They also finished as runner-ups in 2 other Sirnas (Sirnas Jakarta Open & Sulawesi Open) and semi-finalist in the Kejurnas, 2 other Sirnas (Sirnas Bengkulu Open & Sumatera Open), and the Pertamina Open. Their worst domestic result is QF in Sirnas Bandung. If the news is true, PB Djarum will be left with 4 senior pairs: the ever-green Rian Sukmawan/Rendra Wijaya, Didit Juang Indrianto/Praveen Jordan, Seiko Wahyu Kusdianto/Rangga Yove Rianto, Wifqi Windarto and Albert Saputra. What about Kenas Adi Heryanto/Sigid Sudrajat? The newly recruited Pelatnas back-up pairs are also absent as usual (whom I think should be fielded in Sirnas!).
Interesting match on video Devi Yunita vs Fitriani Fitriani is shorter than Devi but her smash & drop shot so sharp & powerfull. As I said Devi's footwork is good, she can cover the court side by side
Fitriani has to work harder on her backhand, quite weak.... Devi Yunita looks very good. so fast.... i am happy to see both. looks like our future in GS is better now ....
GS U-15, good match on SF GM vs GM, Gregoria Mariska vs Gabriela Moningka. I guess the winner will against Sarah Christine in Final. GS U-17, I hope Final : Meirisa Cindy vs Devi Yunita GS U-19, I hope Final : Berliyan Sudrajat vs Setyana Mapassa In BS, only take hope on Jonathan Christie to win in BS U-19.
The 1st match is big boring, some of viewers asked why Sirnas broadcast allways showed MS Final again and again.
