I should try ZM62, but I am really afraid with their durability when I go back to Indonesia, I will try the new ZM62 (if they have it) if they don't have it, I might try BG66 UM
Gave my neglected TPro some more quality time recently. 284mm-86g. Solid but light frame gives crisp control, quick defence, and it has more power than one expect based on its light specs. Dinkalot, you've made my dream come true and essentially resurrected the Trinity 1. Looking forward to more reviews from you folks in Panda-Europa, now that MarkA's postal woes are over and the TPros have been distributed.
I've been using ZM62 @ 24-25lbs for ages now, and as long as I'm playing okay, it will usually last me a couple of months (and I'm an aggressive player who likes to smash/drive hard and often). Having said that, it won't survive many mishits - last week for example, I wasn't playing so well, and it resulted in me breaking the strings on 3 rackets.
The updated ZyMax string = awesome. The most notable improvement is the outer shell which has a more premium feel and is easier to string with: doesn't burn the grommets as much as the old shell. In addition, the new string holds tension better than before. It's on par with BG80, if not slightly better (in this Panda's testing ZM67v2 vs BG80). Panda currently uses ZM70v2 (version 2) at 32lbs. and it's near ideal.
Hi My T-Pros arrived in time for my Friday evening badminton session Great customer service from Mark A - thank you! Dan and Mark A - which of you has a dog/cat with white fur as the cloth racket bags have quite a bit of fur on them! Might I add this not a problem at all - in fact I found it very amusing Can't wait to try the rackets and review to follow.
Er... that'd be me. I could palm it off and say it was Panda moulting, but here's the cuprit - she set up shop in the Panda shipment box as soon as it was empty!
Mark - Fantastic photo! We have a cat, which my 6 year old twins adore I feel a new thread coming on - BCers and their pets cheers
FUNNY, I spend more time cleaning Panda cloth bags from cat hair than getting the packages and labels done myself for shipping. Wish always they had a vinyl cover when going through the process.
Mark, May we please suggest that you trade in for a hairless variety, for the sake of our health. Then, we won't have to worry about having to clean our precious Panda bags.
Thanks for that Would you still consider the ZM62v2 better overall than most of the new Zymax strings though?
Urameatball - if you order a racket from Mark A just make sure you have your inhaler and EpiPen close at hand before you open the package.
thank God I got the first shipment where there is no fur on the bag got pretty small accident three days ago, both of my rackets clashed (my friend borrow my arcsaber 008 and I use the Tpro) my arcsaber got one paint chip. luckily, the Tpro is without paint job (only raw finish) if Tpro has paint job I would be pretty sad if both got paint chips well, I would not be afraid of clash if I use my Tpro (at least no paint chips, only scratches)
I would say I'd agree but someone hit through my UPro last night leaving some ugly marks... No paint doesn't mean you're safe
Normally you can get those marks off - it's just color from the other racket which should come off rather easily. If there are any scratches, no one will see them thanks to the clear finish
