    not bad!

the only mistake is the 11th main. at the top. it should go into the shared hole (one below) instead of the single string hole.

glad i gave you some practice string, eh? ;)

    1. i think he is using the flying clamp as a starting clamp.
    2. i think he is copying me. :)

not bad for the first attempt. i have made worse mistakes when i just started.

in the photo: on the 11th main, the top of the string goes through A14 (14th hole from the top). it should go through A13, 13th hole from the top.

there are 2 types of grommet holes, the thinner one can only have one string through it. the wider ones can hold 2 or 3 strings.

for the mains or for the cross?

for the cross it is a bit tight. but you can move the string a little.

for the mains it should be the exact right size.

I got confused here. I went up down skipping no grommets and this is the result. It looks really really squished on the side

hm... you need to study the Yonex pattern first. some of the holes you need to skip.

also you need to do the mains symmetrically. meaning you start from the center, do some left side, do some right side.

don't do one side completely and then do another side. this is to keep the forces on the left and right side balanced.

the pattern on the left NS7000/AT800 pattern should be the same as yours.

Ohh okay, I thought it'd be easier to do just one side first for some reason...Thanks again Kwun! Sorry for the troubles :s

Congratulation to both Tim and Kwun!

Tim, please study the Yonex pattern thoroughly first. Never start the main string from one end of the frame to the other. Stringing takes lots of practice. Hope you have fun :).

Hey Kwun, I just received the fishscale tension calibrator but I have no idea how to use it. I tried putting string through the hook and tensioning it but it only read a .24 lbs when I was trying to string 22 lbs...Any advice?
