seriously..i prefer iso rackets its add power to shots specially those have weak wrist power!!hehehe..
AOTBE, oval shape is a faster and more maneuverable racquet than iso. In nature all objects shaped by nature are very un-iso in shape. They all tend to be spherical; and oval is closer to a sphere than an iso. Fill your wash basin or bath tub with water and then pull the plug off. You will see nature in action as the water disappears in a spiral or spherical pattern down the hole.
i believe if American Standard or Crane made iso shaped basin and toilets, the water would still swirl around into the drain hole
picked up my old cab21sp again after quite a while last month, and it has been performing beautifully. i'd forgotten what a joy it is to use (and have since purchased another!), but i must say, after a couple of hours of continuous use, the arm does then to ache and moving on to an armortec does provide some relief ...
I realised a while ago that my toilet is ISO-shaped. Therefore it has a larger sweetspot which means it's easier to use compared to the oval-shaped toilet at my grandmother's house . But the oval-shaped toilet has more 'bang' factor somehow, which isn't really good when I'm using it.. very disgusting.
bg85 @ 25 lbs, strung in december. i lent it to someone who broke my strings, so had it restrung, which is turning out to be a blessing in disguise.
but that could also be that the AT is ligher than your cab21. correct me if i'm wrong, but doesnt the cab run at 2u, while you can get 3u and 4u ATs? plus, the AT is head heavy, so it carries some of the work for you.
yup, that's exactly it. also, it does feel like the cab21 is stiffer than the at900t. all in all, i've found that starting with the cab21 and then moving on to either the ti10 or at900 after 2 hours is just about the right balance at the moment.
To add to this, I prefer my iso-shaped table spoon as well. Bigger sweetspot = easier to scoop the food
I love how the Oval heads seem to give me a stronger smash when I hit the sweetspot, however ever since I switched to Iso, I find it harder and harder to hit that sweetspot because the Iso head shape is so different than the Oval. So Iso it is.
yeah, the main purpose of the iso head is the bigger sweetspot. which is why i find it easier to switch to the iso after a couple of hours with the oval, once i get tired the iso feels better because it's more forgiving. and lighter as someone pointed out.
I've just tried playing with my cab 21 after shifting to an iso racket. I must say that there's something that ovals have that iso's cannot match and that's the 'feel'. Iso's are more forgiving I agree but the feel of hitting with ovals allows me not just more power, but better control as well. Too bad manufacturers are pushing the sales of iso's more than ovals as if iso's are clearly the better racket.
