    Opening odds: Steelers -6

Don't think it'll come down to a field goal. The Steelers will find a way to put a gap between themselves and the Cards. If they restrict Arizona to 21 or 24 points, Pittsburgh will win. I think Parker will be able to run free again as the Cards defence ain't the Ravens'. I'm thinking Steelers 31-21.

And all it took was double coverage on Mason ;) (what a surprise) not too mention a lucky TD to seal it: from would be sack to 65 yard touchdown pass .
Watched it live on german tv  ... 3 hours later the alarm went off :D.

Again wouldn't surprise me if Arizona wins it ... in fact go Cards! Parker only had 47 yards on 24 carries I see. Cards shutdown the mighty Panthers so don't see why not the Steelers run. Fitzgerald.

    A Rookie is a Rookie after all!!! He had a good run & it finally came to an end;
I am sure he will rise again to be one of NFL's best QB's...

Hehe, everyone hates the Steelers :D:D. I've visited a lot of message boards and I guess many want an upset.

They have won Superbowl before and hence many people want AZ to win, who has never got to a finals before!!! That dude Palamalu, or whatever his name is, is too good to be true....

I actually like Flacco. Very poised and unflappable. But you (the Steelers) play against what they put in front of you, and in this case, a rookie quarterback. So it doesn't matter if he's a rookie or not. You play to win the game (Herm Edwards).

Let's see if he learns from this outing. My guess is that he will.

Right, a scrambling, improvised TD is a lucky TD...

The Steelers will have a good running game plan against the Cards. They will breathe a sigh of relief at not having to face the Raven defence, who has had Parker's number big time. Again, the Cards defence ain't remotely close to Baltimore's.

    Hmmm..

..aahhh...injuries...hmmm...i don't know if both of them will be ready to go or not come Feb. 1st..
..it depends who controls the line of scrimmage. But remember, unlike the Cardinals, the Ravens don't have a passing game (1 dimensional); Cardinals' offense is not the same as the Ravens. Cards' offense is more balanced.
*There's a minor problem now, Anquan Boldin is behaving like Plaxico..:p
..that's right. The Eagles had a chance y'day to tie or even take over the game, but their receivers cost them on so many occasions (esp. in the 4th quarter). The Cardinals' D stopped the Panthers and Eagles' running game. So, in my opinion, if the Steelers can't exploit the Cards defensive backs, then they'll struggle. Let's see if the Steelers' other WRs will step up.
..from the NFC's worst to the NFC's best, who wouldn't support them.;)

    ^^It's not you're alone or not..^^

:p..we're just looking at both teams & what they've got to offer..Again, the way i look at it, it'll be a close game (1 team with a slightly better D & another with a slightly better O)..:)

I hope the old adage - defence wins championships - holds true. I guess it's OK to allow Arizona their moment in the sun, since I like them too.

:D +1. Was waiting for me to come to my senses. NFC Championship is good enough for the Cards :p (eventhough Warner did play for Amsterdam waaaaaay back). Always supported the Steelers since I luv a great defense but it's just not been the same without ze Bus. And the fact I hardly recognize any players on this year's team . In case anyone thought I was a Raven's fan .. guess again. Just supporting the rookie and Ed; now if only Ed was a Steeler .

Good on ya! Here we go Steelers, here we go...

Can you imagine Ed Reed in a Steelers uniform as a Free Safety and Troy Polamalu patrolling as Strong Safety...

The lucky part was the $%$^*%& corner slipping leaving Holmes wide open ;).

Wow Elway looks ancient haha ...

Signing off ... hopefully it'll be intersting enough to keep me awake (0.30AM now [IMG]).
