IMO, rank is just a number, we should look at their performance. Moreover, they play at their own nation & they lost a match they should not lost...

Chan Peng Soon mentioned about the fans and about KKK/TBH today, on Facebook.

    "我昨晚很开心因为我很辛苦赢了比赛,同样也很伤心。因为古陈的输球球迷们对他们的虚呼声!最近我看到他们真的很努力去改变,这些你们是看不到的。没有人是想输球的!请你们耐性给他们点时间!"

    Translation :

"Although I was happy to win yesterday after a tough match, I was very sad at the same time, because the fans jeered and boo-ed KKK/TBH after they lost. Recently, I can see that they have really been working very hard to change their game, but none of you can see this. No one wants to lose! Please be patient and give them more time!

Meanwhile, Goh Liu Ying also has a comment of her own :

    "今天看到了球迷对古陈的评语以及昨天的嘘声,有点替他们心疼的感觉。我看到了他们的努力,请你们相信他们,他们可以的!!一点点的支持,会换来大大的信心,加油!"

"Today, I saw the fans insulting/boo-ing KKK/TBH, I empathize with their 'heartache'. I saw them work hard, so please believe in them! They can do it! A little support, might cause a big change in their confidence. Jia You!"

if they work hard, i dont see any change of their games. Still the same:
    1) give a lot high shuttle to opponent for smashing.
    2) always take shuttle late at the net(it very important in badminton nowaday, which pair is faster reach the net as early as posible definitely they will win the game..).
    3) defensive to much rather than offensive. Position during defend is very far at back line.
    4) body movement to static, not aggresive as a years ago.

It looks like they desperately needed their new coaches to help them

It looks like they desperately needed their new coaches to help them. But so far, there is no promising results.

Meanwhile, Rexy is doing OK, producing some good results for his Womens Doubles.

Their moral is very low now. They have been destroyed by Korea Men , no more excitement ! The only way to bring back their excitement is to get Korea girls to help such as Generation Girls. By sparring with these girls,I think it will bring back their excitement. ! Then korea men pairs will be in deep trouble ! :D

The only WD pair that KKK/TBH could lose to is WXL/YY. Don't think Korean cuties could, with due respect.

Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong must attend three sessions of training daily

    .
Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong must attend three sessions of training daily. This was report in the New Straits Times on Wednesday 18 January 2012.

    ====== * ====== part of article ====== * ======

KOO Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong will have to follow the stringent rules and regulations laid down by doubles head coach Tan Kim Her. And his proposal received the nod from the BA of Malaysia (BAM) high performance committee yesterday.

This means Kien Keat-Boon Heong, unlike previously, must attend three sessions of training daily and abide by the same regulations set for other players in order to revive their career.

The committee, consisting of BAM secretary Ng Chin Chai, National Sports Institute (NSI) coordinator for the Road to London programme Kol (rtd) Wong Ah Jit and former international Datuk James Selvaraj, also decided to trim Kien Keat-Boon Heong's tournaments so that they can focus on their preparations for the Olympics in July.

Kien Keat-Boon Heong's training is conducted by Pang Cheh Chang but preparing the duo will be the responsibility of Kim Her and South Korean coach Yoo Yong Sung.

The committee also made leeway for Kien Keat-Boon Heong as it is not too concerned about short term results but more about them bouncing back for the Olympics.

"We have had a fruitful discussion with the coaches as well as Kien Keat and Boon Heong and both have agreed to abide by the rules," said Chin Chai.

"Kien Keat has given the assurance that he wants to adapt to all the changes and is ready train three sessions a day. Both players have opened up and were sincere in accepting the decision by the coaches.

"The training is now the responsibility of not just Cheh Chang but also Kim Her and Yong Sung. As the head coach, Kim Her has accepted the responsibility of the pair's performance but the high performance committee and BAM will also be accountable.

"We are not worried about immediate results but we want to see them at their best again in the Olympics.

"There is a possibility their performance will drop due to the new training schedule and they may not perform in the coming tournaments but what is important is the Olympics.

"There is no point if they can win titles all the way but fail in the preliminary rounds of the Olympics."

Ah Jit said although the emphasis is not on results, their performance in training will be closely monitored.

"The tournaments are a run-up to the Olympics. We are not looking for immediate results but there must be continuous improvement," he said.

the skipped? very daring... if i am the coach, i boot them out. ;)

    team work??
"The training is now the responsibility of not just Cheh Chang but also Kim Her and Yong Sung. As the head coach, Kim Her has accepted the responsibility of the pair's performance but the high performance committee and BAM will also be accountable.

what consequences? be specific. wayang2? ;)
“There will be no special treatment for them. They understand that they will train with the other doubles players and need to show improvement by April or face the consequences.”

PETALING JAYA: Troubled doubles shuttlers Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong will have to spend more time training and less time competing to shape up for the Olympics.
That is the solution the BA of Malaysia’s newly-formed High Performance Team (HPT) of Ng Chin Chai, Datuk James Selvaraj and Wong Ah Jit finally came up with after a three-hour meeting yesterday.
Kien Keat-Boon Heong, the world No. 7 pair, will forgo their chase for ranking points and focus on building up their physical strength and improving their game instead.
That means they will only compete in a maximum of five tournaments from now until the Olympics in July – a move which will certainly see their world rankings slide even further. The reasoning is that, as they are unlikely to finish in the top four in the rankings to be seeded for the Olympics, it is best they focus on mending the fissures in their game instead.
[IMG]Down and out: Malaysia’s Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong will compete in only five tournaments prior to the London Olympics in July.
“Previously, our strategy was for Kien Keat-Boon Heong to be among the seeded pairs for the Olympics,” said Chin Chai.
“But that now seems virtually impossible as they are not performing well so we have had to change our plans.
“It doesn’t matter whether they are the fifth ranked pair in the world or No. 16 because only the top four get seeded while the others will be in a blind draw.
“Right now our priority is to improve the physical side of their game so that they will have a fighting chance for an Olympic medal. To do that, we’re drastically reducing the number of tournaments they will be competing in from now until July.
“We will increase training for speed, power and endurance according to the coaches’ recommendations and, hopefully, in six months, we’ll see a different Kien Keat-Boon Heong,” added Chin Chai.
The duo will only compete in the Thomas Cup qualifiers and Finals, the All-England in March, the India Open in April and the Indonesia Open in June.
James added that the pair were well aware of their situation and have promised to give their best in training.
“Both of them were very down-to-earth during the meeting. Kien Keat, who has received most of the criticism, is very concerned about his form,” said James.
“They accept the fact that they have really been poor and have vowed to give their all in training.
“There will be no special treatment for them. They understand that they will train with the other doubles players and need to show improvement by April or face the consequences.”
The once dominant Kien Keat-Boon Heong have suffered a drastic drop in form and confidence and have tumbled to No. 7 in the world rankings.
Their latest embarrassment came in the Malaysian Open where they bowed out tamely to South Korea’s No. 4 pair Kim Ki-jung-Kim Sa-rang in the second round.
The HPT also acknowledged that top women singles player Tee Jing Yi has a shot at earning a ticket to London and will be sent for more tournaments before the qualifying period ends.
The 21-year-old Jing Yi is currently ranked No. 60 in the world and needs to get into the top 32 by April.

Why it takes soooo long for the 3 coaches plus KOR import, high performance dude, BAM boss, to know now...1-coach in Rexy has pointed this out to KKK/TBH and an outside coach in Park in Japan pointed this out too;)
Don't expect much now till OLY12. huh?...read again, this means stop complaining and criticizing for the next 7 months, and if still screw up by then, for sure the 3-stooges and the lawyer has a Plan B...starting with firing Yoo-Yoo and send him back to KimChi land...:D
