CWF is a "fresh Junior" ? Just graduated from BJSS? Thanks for you
    information. ;)
Do u think BAM was a dumb? IF any of MJs qualify for this year WC, they wont get the chance??
I repeat : Let the results speak. It is still too early to tell CWF can be in for WC. The first 2 SS of 2009 -- Well, you already know his results. No?

What's this about your English being poor?
    Your English is not poor.
The problem is the sms English.Sms English is best for sms on handphones because of limited space. Here on BCF, oldhand's been so generous the real estate is free so use full spelling like 'need' instead of 'nid'.(You look at George, he used to confound with his sms English. Now he writes so well with proper English;it's a pleasure to see his confidence.)
limsy, you have a fine mind;excellent observational skills and quick thinking.Just try and put in a little effort in NOT using SMS English and you will find you will automatically write better through effortless habit.
(But continue to sms English with your friends;it's great shorthand.)

2009 India Open: Draw for HH and KBH

    .
It would be interesting to see how Muhammad Hafiz HASHIM [10] and Beng Hong KUAN could perform at the 2009 India Open (March 24-29).

Will BAM be happy if Hafiz can get to the Semi-Finals at the 2009 India Open?

    .
I would think that BAM will be happy if Hafiz can get to the Semi-Finals at the 2009 India Open.

If Hafiz can arrive at the Semi-Finals (looking at the draw), he could say that he's better than Chetan Anand (IND-World Ranking No.12) and Andre Kurniawan Tedjono (INA-World ranking No.20). Both of them are currently quite outstanding players.

    Apologies for this OT post

This is indeed a very large-hearted post!
It's rare to come across something like this.

    Thanks, pjswift :)

limsy, if you would attempt to change the way you type your thoughts, that itself would amount to a great deal.

For a start, try typing a complete sentence.
Believe me, there is nothing to be embarrassed about in any genuine attempt to communicate.

After all, every person progresses from making sounds, learning words, forming phrases and constructing sentences to linking them to form a coherent opinion. (I'm sure even Shakespeare started off by making baby sounds :D)

And, please, please, drop the SMS language.
wad is not what, nid is not need, wif is not with and u is not you.

    So, how? :p

oldhand, your post is not apply to limsy, i guess.
Me, for example, should take something from it.

Considering that we are both 19 and 18, i doubt if it is not common to use this sms language. Be known that i am trying my best to be understandable, indeed.
But of course, for any inconvenience, my bad.

So guys, 'u' is no longer permissable here?

I'm not really sure but I seriously think our current batch of upcoming player lack talent to compete in the international scene. Regardless of how many tournament they were sent to, these player train with LCW, HH and KBH everyday. Shouldn't their skill would have at least match HH and KBH who have been the butt of jokes in the international level.

Its kinda something like Simon Santosa. He have been around for a while but cannot progress further (I could be wrong but his coach made the same statement) to match top player like Peter, Chen Jin, LCW and maybe even Park.

I have the same feeling... none of our juniors will reach LCW level... maybe the best is top20 in the world... but i believe there are more juniors coming out.

    OT also
Actually, it's not so much sms language but direct translation from mandarin/chinese to English. More similar to msn/irc language.

All things considered, limsy's (& our other chinese educated members) is not bad for those chinese educated, some of the same age cant even understand a sentence in English, let alone joining an English language forum & typing sentences in English.
