TI-10 Yellow... I've been using my Ti-10 (yellow) for a couple of months now, and I must say, It's quite difficult to get used to...compared to the old Black-Red one. there are days when using it is a nightmare, timing is off, shots are predictable ..etc but then there are days when it's a beast, like every stroke is a winner..then again, it might just be me :crying: I can't quite wrap my head around it, but it seems to me the Yellow Ti-10 is more even ended than the original, but it just feels weird holding one then the other, because even though they're "supposed" to be the same racquet I can't help it to feel a bit of difference in the balancing of the weight throughout each racquet. But the thing that confuses me the most is the stiffness of Ti-10's, in general. The original Ti-10 was extra-stiff, but it seemed to get less and less stiff the more I used it, maybe it was just the natural wear and tear of graphite. But the new yellow one seemed to be medium-to-stiff all along, so my question is, are they the same stiffness to begin with? Some guy I talked to said that the yellow Ti-10 is too flexible compared to the old one..so i don't know. ting03

as i know, the black red ti10 and the purple ti-10 r basically the same racket, with slightly lighter head and stiffer shaft, which is excellent for netplay(especially), dropshot n lob. the yellow white ti10 is head heavier n less stiffer compare to its 2 bros,which is good for smashing. i have 2 yellow white(1 down recently,after jus 2 mths), i feel it is like a whip when smashing(i love tat) n i tried the purple, not tat good in smashing but good in other aspect, mayb better. i hope my thinking is correct bcoz i saw fu haifeng(china) n tan boon heong(mas) change from purple to white yellow during matches. they r both heavy smashers
The old Ti-10 is different from the new versions. The yellow and purple Ti-10 are the same but with a different paint job.
What are the differences between the old Ti10 regular and the old Ti10 long apart from its length? i.e playability, power, control, etc..
yea, i think for the yellow and purple Ti-10's Yonex focused more on making Ti-10 a more versatile racquet, based on offense and defense, I agree, that the old Ti-10 is better for offense, but I think the newer models sacrificed some of that raw power for defence.
After a 2 week break from badminton I was playing like crap with my AT700 and it felt too slow and hard to use (my technique probably got really bad). I switch to Ti-10, and it felt so much easier to use, easy power, light and fast. Ti-10 really a very forgiving racquet and easy to use if you have decent technique. That being said, I switched back to At700 later on and was doign fine.
Sorry, instead of saying dark say old ti-10 so everyone understands. The old ti-10 is a offensive racket where as the new ones are more all-rounder.
well, we all thinks tat the old ti-10 is an offensive racket bcoz it's 2u. my fren has all 3 of ti-10 but i oni tried ti-10 purple as i have a ti-10 yellow. to me, smash is easier with ti-10 yellow but ti-10 purple is an all rounder. n i have read a review by guy in a chinese forum measuring n comparing 3 of these rackets, all in 3u. tat's y i said old ti-10 is the same as the purple. btw, a curious question here. any1 seen 2ug5 purple ti-10?
