    Someone selling his SW35 second hand. Wanted to try. I wanted to ask you to string tighter. Feels weird with your previous string.

    Manage to get my first Victor SW35 this morning and spent 1 hour with it in the court. It is 3U but I feel it is lighter than the APACS lethal 60. Even balance racket and I personally feel it is very stiff (stiffer than lethal 60).

    Smash is great and sweetspot also large. SW35 is absolutely fast and great in defense too. My own review between Victor SW35 and APACS Lethal 60.

    Victor Superwaves 35
    Power = 9
    Sweetspot = 7
    Control = 7
    Defense = 8
    Speed = 8
    Value = 9

    APACS Lethal 60
    Power = 9.5
    Sweetspot = 6
    Control = 7
    Defense = 6
    Speed = 7
    Value = 10

    :)

    Sweetspot for L60 is smaller? You string it at 30lbs is it? Mine was at 28lbs (should have dropped some now) and the sweetspot is plenty. I haven't played with my SW35 but the stringbed looks tighter with smaller spacing vertically. And the frame is a bit narrower. I expect it to have a smaller sweetspot for the same tension.

    It is my personal view between SW35 and Lethal 60... :p

    I strung both rackets at 26lbs... Actually I thought SW35 will have smaller sweetspot due to the frame is slightly smaller than Lethal 60. But after some games, I find it easy to general power (subject to wrist power) even it is not surrounding the center of the racket.

    Lethal 60 is generating greater power than SW35, but only when you hit within the sweetspot. Maybe my skill is only at intermediate or below, I think 30% of the time I am not hitting the right spot. :rolleyes:

    My wrist can generate good power at all time, but not hitting the right spot all time... It is because I also play bowling in hook, which need to use wrist to hook the bowling ball (my own bowling ball is at 14-15 pounds or around 6kg)...

    I borrow my new racket to other friends, some of them said SW35 is fast but can't generate good smash... So I do not recommend beginner to use this racket, it is too stiff...

    Maybe the swing speed is faster thus the increased power. This doesn't mean that the sweetspot is bigger. Is the string the same type?

    I am using Victor VS-800 which recommended by the seller on my SW35. Control and drop are precise, suitable for all round player.

    The swing speed is faster than my Lethal 60, it could be the reason where I can generate more power. But when come to smashes, I personally think Lethal 60 is slightly powerful due to the head heavy design. I can't feel the head heavy of SW35, and I feel it is more even balance. Maybe it was head heavy but not as heavy as Lethal 60 :p

    Now there is the problem. Both racket is using different strings. Can't compare that way.

    Hi all - Has anyone tried the Artery Tec Control or Power? Victor in the UK have them back on their website for a really reasonable price. Just wondering whether they are any good? I currently use the BS range but am tempted to give one a go.

    They also have the BS169 really cheap as well but am guessing this is a more female orientated racket by the colour.
