^Is this to get the racket high enough to stop it hitting the WISE on the way round? If so, you could add some washers to the turntable bearing instead of trying to get the Michals higher.
Got my Michals mounts last week and have strung 10 racquets with them....highly recommend them. Very nice. Will be ordering another set for my other machine. Thanks again.
I've managed to string about 15 rackets last week with the sideposts and was extremely satisfied with them. No problems so far, even with high tensions stringing.
My experience with this supports made with plastic beside too fat, also was not strong enough for tension above 26 lbs. When I strong all 22 mains with 26 lbs, the plastic support open a little, so the frame expanded by 1 - 2 mm and that some time can cause high month disease to the frame. To correct this, I have to use load spreader ('H' type, home made).
This is probably the gap that Mark was talking about at the top of the racket. I find that I do not have any problems at all with it. Look from the side. A few close-ups.....
When you pull the first few mains, keep an eye on the top and bottom of the frame - you might see it "dip" as the string is tensioned. If it springs back up there's no problem, but to be sure I've put some "chocks" under my load spreaders to keep the frame flat.

Wanted - metal machinist for custom parts I need a couple of custom parts making, but I haven't get access to an endmill or MIG welder, so I'm looking to outsource this little job. It's badminton-related, mods, I assure you. Basically, the things consist of a threaded rod with a flat bit at one end, onto which is welded a right-angle bracket. Picture below. I don't know the exact dimensions yet, but the rod is roughly 150 mm long and the bracket 75 mm. This is no more than an hour's work for with the right kit (which I haven't got), and I can provide the rods and possibly the steel for the brackets. Any takers can PM or email me.

Thanks.. it wasn't that hard actually. i just needed to use the allen keys to unscrew them from the bottom. I still need to measure the supports for Michal. I should get around to that this weekend. I also managed to find 2 springs $1 (for both) to be used between the fixed clamp and the base so that it doesn't fall back down (similar to Dink's setup on his fixed clamps) I'm planning to raise the turntable about 1/2 inch higher to try and get 360 rotation with the Wise2086 by buying: 1) 4 longer socket cap screws that secure the turntable to the stand 2) enough washers between the table and the stand post
