well..MBS is one of the few online retailer that have the adidas racket. Going to get it and be the 1st in my country
Checked the Duoforce at MBS and the total price is almost equivalent to ordering the Adipower Pro series from ShuttleHouse. Pulled the trigger and cant wait for it's arrival Dont think M'sia will have them in that soon especially Duoforce.
MBS will carry the DuoForce... and probably cheaper than the UK. That's the one I really really wanted. Panic over.

Hi guys, I have tested the Adipower power,Adizero pro, and Adiprecision tour today. adipower and zero are stringed with yonex bg66-ultimax at 24lbs. adiprecision is stringed with adidas balance 69 at 24 lbs. As for adipower tour, at first I wasn't really into this racket because of the stiffness because it's flexibility(it is flexible than arcsaber or zforce). After awhile, I can feel the power comes back after I getting used of it. Overall, I think this racket is a lighter version of arcsaber 10 and with a different flexibility(I am a arcsaber&VT-ZF player). For me, this racket is definitely suitable for double because of its swing speed and its real good in defending. But for single, I don't think this racket generates enough power like zforce. For adizero pro, it is really very light. Due to its head-heavy(its not really obvious when holding it, but u can feel its head-heavy when u start swinging), it generates more power than any other light rackets such as yonex FB. For precision tour, because of its string, I do not like it at all. No sound, no power, no control. So I dont really recommend u guys to use their strings. ALL THESE are based on my personal actual feeling, for further detail reviews, u guys can go to search for Kwun's ones, his review is the best so far.
I think the price of MBS is ok considering your shipment is included. Pretty tempted to order a duoforce
I just made an order for the Adidas Duoforce! I hope to get it by next week. I'll post initial impression once I have it strung and play for a few hours.
Comparing a thick string with a pretty thin one like the Ultimax at the same tension is unfair to the thicker string. When you've tried it with different tensions, you can judge it A real comparison should also be made with another string of the same diameter, in this case a NBG99 or NBG95. For a .69 string, 24lbs is a very low tension, so it has to be expected to feel a bit dull. In my experience .69 strings feel much better from 27lbs on (my personal preference being 29lbs, with 32-33 feeling very very lively but also a bit powerless). Nice of you to post your impressions here, though
Power Balance 69 is an all around type string. excels at nothing by ok at most. as name implies, it is a "balanced". and on the chart. it sits right in the middle. don't expect any great performance from it. i restrung my adipower duoforce with it and it muted down the racket by quite a bit. gonna cut it and string something more excited (and probably less durable) on the duoforce after i finish the review.
i just toyed with several adidas racquet in a shop in singapore.. not for sale yet but can pre-order.. slightly cheaper than some yonex racquets.. but if i'm insistent enough maybe they will sell the sample to me.. :X
which sample model did you try? slightly cheaper?? yup. looking from the price in MBS it is just slightly cheaper
i was at paragon sports at QW, i saw the adizero both models and adipower tour/pro... didnt see the duoforce estimated pricing told to me was in the range of 10% off from $200 there abouts..
