I think you have to talk to Cormac (the umpire) :D

I am so sorry! I have just seen this post NOW!

So, Happy New Year for a start!

Now, the coin in question is my favourite coin for using as my coin to toss with.

The plan at the start of the WC was that the coin should be tossed and caught but it bounced out om hand and onto the floor. There it lay and the camerman dived onto it with his camera. From that game out I have let it fall to the floor for the camerman to focus on.

It is a great coin. It is heavy; it has never rolled off!; it offers the simplest of choices black or white (heads or tails can cause such confusion!); and if white comes up it is good for business as it has the BWF logo on it!

The coin is the Umpire Coin and come from The Badminton Association of Thailand.

Let me know how you get on - maybe I can get another one if needed.

    Happy New Year from Ireland,

    Cormac
