Oh ok never thought of it that way, so you can still rescue the strings providing that they've broken near the edge of the racket ?

No - once they have broken that it is, the ret need to be cut out. I mean I buy the strings from a shop/retailer and just ask the stringer to string it. It often works out cheaper as you only get shared for the labour.

Oh sorry i misunderstood what you meant, I had to buy my own strings too but the stringer still charges me £12 with my own strings and £18 without. I go to Tennisnuts in Northwood i know its not cheap there but its local and convenient for me.

Ouch - 12 just for labour. Get yourself a machine - it will repay itself really quickly at that rate!

Hopefully one day I can have a personal stringer as my friend is looking to get a machine in the future.

Ben do mind if PM from time to time about Victor advice or maybe I should start commenting in the Victor fans threads as I've kinda veered from the topic of this thread.

Ok, here's most of my current collection. I've given away a few racquets, sold a few, there are some crappy Wilson and Slazenger ones I didn't want in the photo and some I can't find but this should be most of the ones I have. All genuine Yonex and one Antelop which was my favourite racquet when I was a kid before my obsession with Yonex really took off.

Thanks... there are a few I missed out in that list/photo. Another Carbonex 9 Tour and a Widebody 30. I'll retake the photos of my full collection later when I've acquired a few more...

I would really love to add a Boron-2 and a Boron-200 to my collection. Hopefully one day I'll get hold of them! But they are quite difficult to get hold of in the UK.

If I find the time, I'll post up some close up photos of some of the classics if people are interested.
