haha, No. I wouldn't say made in china is of inferior quality. As far as I can tell, all the current SW series are made in china. There doesn't seem to be any quality control issue with any of the SW rackets so far.
I have, but I need to put more time into it before judging it. At the moment, I've been occupied with playing with another new acquisition: the RKEP Pro 9000.
I have spent some more time with this racket, comparing to my current MX80,70, VT80(4U) and RKEP Pro9000. Power wise it's less than VT80 but more than the others. Defence and speed is faster than VT80, but slower than the others. Feel and touch is where it doesn't hold up, compared to the others it feels distant. Unfotunately, for me and my play style, the Pro9000 felt and played the best in my hands.
i was hoping it would feel similar to the mx 70, but pack a little more power. is it weighted/balanced similar to the meteors?
Its 85.3g 295mm bp dry. It is more powerful than mx70 but somehow doesnt feel as good as the other rackets. I use the same string and tension for all of them: vs850 @ 24 lbs.
visor, i tried ordering a sw 30 in at my club and was told we couldn't get them...are they not available to us yet? or do you have victor connections?
I just find the Superwaves slooooooowwwww. Even my 91g Net SW310 is considerably slower than say the Kason C7 which has almost identical specs. Then again, I did give it to a friend of mine and we had a game of singles and he spanked me, so maybe it's just me I really want Victor to bring out a Bravesword that has the same specs as my C7 - 305/85g.
I'm thinking of getting the SW30 but not sure whether to get the 3U or 4U version. What's your advise guys? Visor - did you get the 3U or 4U version? Thanks.
got a 4u which weighed 85.3g dry, coz i knew i wouldn't be able to handle too heavy even then it's heavier swing wt than my 87.1g dry mx70
