How to double the life of your shuttlecock....You don't need expensive YONEX brand. If you have BALLY fitness member or know anyone that are members. Have them bring the shuttlecocks to the steam room, take it out and place it on top of the wooden steam where the hot moist air come out. Leave it there at least for 5 minutes. Then put it back in the tube. You can take it to play within 30 minutes of steaming or better yet, play it within 24-48 hrs. I know some of you thinking about home steaming, but from my experience, Bally Fitness STeam room works the best. I used DNA shuttlecocks, and now I can play 1 full game with heavy smashed w/out a feather fly off the birdy....I can see people keep on checking the birdy to see what brand am I using OVER & OVER ......i know what they thinking....."damn, this bird don't die".....
hi micheal ., the hiqua are directly imported by ome of our players from HK, the canary i have been offered are OEM from asia, have just tried a few REGILIENT duck feathers which were sent as a sample , (1per game) have tried few AF700 , very good and i ordered 50 dozen for our club, we got 5-8 sets per bird. What are you using in the west?
would be nice to post that info on the first page/post instead of 9 pages later edit: by the way i posted Trump T101 last night, one birdie lasted 5 games it was pretty tight
Sir, it was originally posted as Post # 1. The powers that be edited the post. I cannot re-edit. You'll need to contact them. The best I can do is repost it.
unfortunately, the table is nearly useless at this point, due to declining shuttle quality over the last few years, so most of his reviews have become obsolete. if you're really interested, I have the review saved, so i can post it on photobucket and send you a link, though it really wont do you a whole lot of good unfortunately.
http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1149799&postcount=128 hi, welcome to the forum!
Best Value Shuttle for Casual Play It's a real shame that the review is now outdated - amazing how fast things change! Thanks for all your hard work though Dink. I have a question - What is the best shuttle I can get for $15 or less - just for playing with friends etc? Cheers Fabian
Would be cool that someone makes an update to it but I think that it would takes a lot of time and $$$ Thanks to Dinkalot that made this. I'll take the shuttles in blue at around $12-$13 for my next order
I made this web-tool over the last 3 days to allow people to update shuttlecock reviews in a way similar to Drink-A-Lot's Badminton shuttle review. http://shuttlecockcomparison.hobby-site.com/intro/servlet/MainAction
Your link is broken, can u fix? Your link gives good information but when i visit it again it is broken. Can you fix it or move it so I can download? Thanks
http://hbc.hobby-site.com/website/servlet/ShuttleComparison yea, i moved it to part of my badminton club's website. Please add your own review if you have time, Thanks! Also, any feedback on the website would be nice as well!
Slight Update: Panda has tried some more shuttles recently and these are the reliable "Panda Approved" shuttles*: Aeroplane EG1130 (Black Label) Aeroplane SG1130 (Red Label) Yonex AS-40 Yonex AS-50 *Please note: this it doesn't necessarily mean all shuttles have degraded; it most likely was not retested. This post is just to inform the masses of "approved", good quality, proper flying shuttles.
