Hi, I recently bought a Yonex Voltric 80 but am not sure whether i made the correct choice? Now that i have looked in to it i found out it was made in 2011? Would it be more wise to spend the £150 that the v 80 cost on a more recently made racket at the same price? Would it's new technology be better?

    Any help is appreciated,
    thanks!

Oh, so the technology is all the same? What differs from racket to racket in the voltric series?

No what I am saying is that the voltric 80 despite the date it was made the voltric 80 have the same technology. What differs? Multiple things weight technology flex etc

Simply put, no. Just try out the VT 80 first, it's a pretty good racket which is hard to find flaws with. It doesn't matter what year the racket was made in or if the latest model racket is better than the previous, it comes down to what suits you in the end. For example, I find rackets such as the Ti-10 and Muscle Power 77 much nicer to use compared to rackets like VT 80 and VT ZF.
