It's a very good movie. Too bad it's aired in the same time with Transformers: RotF. Children prefer to watch transforming robots, unfortunately.
it's a very good movie, i watched it twice, lol, yes, i agree with Jagdpanther, it's aired in the same time with transformers, but, i think that's not bad, i thought that there wouldn't a lot of people watching it, but the facts in my city, it always full, i love the conflict and the resolution between the father and his son, it's so,.. wonderful,
wow, i thought rangga raditya ( guntur) was PB Djarum kids, Jonathan Cristie is a very talented player, he won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal in his last championship, if i'm not mostaken that was Asia level, i forgot the name, and he also got the satyalencana from the president
Yes, i think that "King" in Indonesia has been put in the wrong slot of time (the time during May-July is when lot of summer blockbuster movies strikes all theatre around the world) In Bandung, Blitz Megaplex PvJ has just showing it in Studio 9 or 10 i forgot, while Ciwalk XXI has not showing it at all. (thanks to the attack of Autobots and Decepticon War, I think)
Timing: school holiday The timing of the launch of movie for kids in INA has to be in late June... because that's the school holiday time... Thus, Garuda di Dadaku and King were launched around the same time... The Americans think the same way too, thus, they launched Transformers around this time too. Because it is their school holiday time too...
Wow, thank you Krisna and blackbhara92 for the information. I've searched for his profile by googling, but I didn't find it I hope he keep on playing and get into pelatnas and play for national team...maybe he could be the next Taufik Hidayat or Lee Yong Dae
found this pic from deyana lomban's faceook..some where in China around 1994..very memorable, deyana commented ..from left : Untari, wewey, zelin, marleve mainaky, Deyana Lomban , Nonong Zanati
I don't think it will be shown in MAS cinema. But I will not be surprised if the DVD version make it there... Jonathan is talented but not extremely talented for INA standards... INA has tons of talent. But not many want to be professional world class players. Many just play badminton at the amateur level. A Chinese observer once told me, the number of people playing badminton in INA who plays badminton at the amateur level is way way more than in China...
Yes, that should be expected, since badminton occupies a more special place in INA than in CHN, where other sports are more glorified.
